They finally opened their 2nd location across from the now closed original Starbucks location next to I 35. I will start with the negative. The wait time in the drive-through is excessive. They need to work on efficiency and speed. Only one employee was outside taking orders. I thought if I downloaded the app and added some money to the Dutch pass that it would make things quicker but I was wrong. There is no option online to order through the app and the prices are not posted on the menu either. The app is pointless if there is no option to order online online and the prices are not posted. Also there is no curbside service. With a few tweaks in their operation they could really be more competitive. Now the positive: The beverages taste amazing and we'll even go as far as to say it's better than Starbucks. We ordered 3 Freezes which is the equivalent of a Frappuccino. Unlike Starbucks which tends to be watered down or have an inconsistent texture these were blended to perfection. You can really taste the Individual flavors in the different beverages. The undertones of coffee is in every sip, expertly balanced with individual flavors of cinnamon, chocolate etc, depending on the specific flavor you order. We were very impressed and will...
Read moreUsually a good place to grab coffee, but today not so much! What seemed to be a current or maybe former employee held up a line of 5 cars so that several employees could come out to greet her. They all talked without taking a break to check on all the cars piling up behind her. The talking would have probably been okay, if the person taking orders would have left to take care of everyone else waiting behind their friend’s vehicle. But this did not happen. Instead they held up the entire line and several employees who would have normally been inside making coffee came out to join the chat. Once this person finally pulled up to the window, she continued to hold up the line and chat with those inside for an extended period of time after receiving her coffee. Probably 20 minute hold up at least for absolutely NO reason because they all obviously knew each other and could meet up to talk when not on the clock! People go to grab drive through coffee because they have limited time. Your customers DO NOT want to be held hostage in line because it’s not always easy to pull away and go somewhere else to be taken care of. This is a downer because I like DB coffee, but I won’t go through the unnecessary hassle again when I need a...
Read moreTo Maya and Kaleigh (GM and AM) My name is Tatum, I recently moved here (about 7 weeks ago) from the Fort Worth area. I'm 25 and making new friends as an adult in a new town is HARD! Sometimes I feel like my boyfriend is my only friend, lol! I come to the GB location at least 2-3 times a week, and your wonderful employees never cease to make me feel less lonely. Today, I received some amazing news that I was hired for my dream job as a PCT at Baylor Scott & White. I immediately wanted to tell my broista friends! So I hopped in the car and drove the 3 minutes from my house to your store. I went to the walk up window and once again your employees went above and beyond, taking my picture with my offer letter and making me a free "congratulations" drink. The coffee and drinks are absolutely amazing and the reason I started regularly going to Dutch Bros, but the beautiful and welcoming community is what keeps me coming back. I adore you guys, at this location especially. Love & peace, your friend Tatum
P.S. If you are a customer reading this, I recommend their electric berry lemonade/rebel energy and their pumpkin brûlée fall drink, they also have great protein coffee recipes and sugar...
