Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Tennessee

There is a saying: "Find a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life." I can tell the employees of Dutch Bros. do truly love their jobs. I have been to several locations but the unit on Chapman Hwy in South Knoxville is hands down THE BEST. The Caramelizer is great, of course, but what really keeps me coming back to this location are the people that work there. Every single person I've interacted with and have gotten to know are awesome! They are super friendly, upbeat and just genuinely fun to talk with. They don't just take my order, they make my day a little better! I keep them tell I want to work with them! :-) I can tell this team works very well together and the unit seems to run like a well-oiled machine. Stella and Yanna are great! Also shout out to Nia, Liam, Nayla, Sierra,Oakley, Ashley...I could go on and on, they are just a few of the wonderful employees at this location. I am in the restaurant business and it's very rare to find a place where the customer service feels this real and consistent. HUGE shout-out to all the crew---y'all are the best. Hi! I’ve been coming to Dutch Bros since it opened! I love it and the drinks and kindness from employees never disappoint.

However today I decided to try out the app order in feature. I was waiting in the drive thru line and no one had taken my order yet. The app must have glitched and accidentally sent it to the walk-up instead of a the drive-thru pick up. When the girl finally came out I tried to explain that I was in a hurry and was on my way to school, and if it would be okay if I stayed in line where I originally was. I’ll admit, I should have planned a bit better time wise. She told me that I still had to drive around and park at the Mobil pick up and still walk up. When I got there there was 5 other people in the front and I was almost was late for school. Again timing was my fault but I feel like Dutch Bros could be a little be more accommodating especially when the app messed up and when I had placed the order while in line and went from being second in line to sixth. I have loved Dutch Bros since I lived in Grant's Pass, Oregon...where they started. Always great kids working there that actually listen to your order! Their caramelize is the best!! And try the caramel apple slushy! Omg!! I am and I always will be a Dutch Bros junkie for life! So so happy they expanded here to Tennessee!! Oh! And ask for a sticker!
