Victoria and her team are so talented! My husband and I have been often for lunch. As a native Floridian, Pub Subs are great, but they just don’t begin to compare to the freshness and flavor that Tequesta Table packs into a sandwich. The details are exceptional, homemade sauces and salads that accompany your lunch, delicious baked goods made by Victoria’s mom (baked goods by a grandma are always superior), and the warm way in which you are welcomed in and cared for during your meal. I can’t say enough good things. Almost forgot to mention the pierogis which are SO good and handmade, there is a rotating selection and we always have a few with lunch because you just can NOT pass up handmade pierogis.
Recently we had the pleasure of attending Ukrainian dinner which is a once a month event with a tasting menu prepared by Victoria, her mom, and her staff. Five courses I believe that showcased Ukrainian food in its best light (wow, I didn’t know I liked beets so much). It was all fresh, healthy, surprisingly light, and the dessert 😱 was wow. This really doesn’t even begin to touch on how lovely Victoria and her staff (many of whom are Ukrainian refugees from the ongoing war) are — once you meet them and taste the food you will undoubtedly want to return. I’ve dined pretty much everywhere in Tequesta, but this is a true local gem.
I’ll be back often in the future trying to work my way through the menu (it’s tough though because there are so many good items to get stuck on like the Philly cheesesteak 😍). This local business deserves your support, so if you’re reading reviews trying to figure out if you should go, then YES, go! Tell Victoria you’re new and let her welcome you in and hook you up with homemade,...
Read moreIf you are looking for a new breakfast/lunch spot, look no further. This is by far the best place to eat in the area. When it comes to a sandwich if thats what your looking for everything starts with the bread. This place knocked the cover off the ball, with the only bread I have tried in Florida that makes you want more. They turned an old spot into a food haven.
I have gone through the menu, each thing i eat is better then the last, with all being amazing. The food will keep you coming back, throw in the music and decoration, and you wont' want to leave. My votes are the Hoboken ( I hope a nod to the owners roots), Delicious cutlet w some garlic aioli, takes me back to home. If people are not familiar wit the "Joe" give it a try its my go to. The bread, Russian dressing, Slaw to Meat ratio is spot on.
I wish i knew about this place sooner. I have eaten everywhere, and had a food blog for a long time. Trust the experience and give this place a try. You can...
Read moreA great addition to the culinary offerings in Tequesta. Hubby and I stopped in for lunch after he took home the Italian sandwich and loved it. He also had a side of macaroni salad which is made with a slightly different twist from the traditional mac salad, I think it has garlic and perhaps mustard. Again, he loved it. Our eat-in meal consisted of the borscht, red beet salad and sauerkraut perogies. Perogies were sauteed perfectly and were delicious. We ordered 2 servings and brought home 3 perogies. The borscht was a HUGE bowl. Good flavor, (brought it home as well), the beet salad was a very generous portion. A bit sweeter flavor than what I was expecting but it was quite tasty as well. What I thought might have been some type of berry in the salad (because of the texture when it popped in my mouth) turned out to be green peas!! Try...
