Exceptional Dining Experience at Magdy’s Mediterranean Cuisine
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Magdy's Mediterranean Cuisine, and my experience was nothing short of fantastic. The veal parmigiana was an absolute delight – delicious and perfectly prepared. It's evident that the chef takes great pride in crafting each dish to perfection.
The customer service at Magdy's is truly commendable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. What stood out even more was the personal touch – the chef himself took the time to visit our table, demonstrating a level of care and passion for their craft that is rare to find.
The atmosphere at Magdy's is delightful, creating the perfect setting for a memorable meal. The attention to detail in the ambiance adds to the overall charm of the restaurant. It's the kind of place where you can relax and enjoy your meal in a welcoming and aesthetically pleasing environment.
To top off an already exceptional experience, the baklava was a sweet conclusion that left a lasting impression. Read moreOmg! What a find! We were just in Terre Haute for the night and found good reviews for Magdy's so we decided to drop in for dinner. This was the best meal we've had in the past year. Magdy, who PERSONALLY came to our table to ask how everything was, is an artist with food. The presentation was lovely but oh, the flavors! It was a party in my mouth! My husband ordered the clam chowder to start but the waiter said unfortunately it was gone for the evening. But Magdy said he'd make some for my husband! We thought the best clam chowder we'd ever had was in Rhode Island but this was incredible. So many wonderful flavors combined to make such a delightful chowder. The entrees we selected were seared yellowfin tuna and my husband had the red snapper with crabmeat in a creamy sauce. The tuna was just very lightly seared with an incredible sauce. Just a hint of Wasabiin the sauce that said let the party begin! The red snapper with crab was cooked to perfection. It was light and flaky and melted in my mouth. It's rare that I will finish a whole restaurant meal but I couldn't stop eating! Magdy truly is an artist with flavors. Oh, and save room for dessert. Magdy makes homemade baklava and tiramisu. More deliciousness! Was this place heaven? No but I think I caught a glimpse of it...
Read moreLet’s begin with the nice linen napkins folded so sweetly on a stained table cloth. Lovely if somewhat boring music playing, in competition with the TV mounted high on the wall tuned to news which is so relaxing. The waiter with his phone ringing as he’s asking what I’d like to drink. And of course pulling it out of his trousers to check it while he’s talking. He doesn’t make eye contact while describing the specials, stares across the room. The bread is served eventually with rock hard- but real! butter and warm, chewy bread that has oddly been grilled so that it’s ridiculously and unnecessarily messy when eaten. The pricey (which is fine if it’s edible) veal piccata was nice and thin but a surprising mixture of greasy and sour which was unpleasant. The small potatoes were bland but edible and the vegetable mixture just one second from dead. Everything on the plate looked as if it had been made hours ago and reheated. When I was asked how I liked my dinner I relayed my concerns and the chef came out to graciously offer a replacement meal. Scallops that when deposited at my table reminded me of, and I’m sorry here but, mucous. Salty, squishy on the inside and dry on the outside. Again not edible. Absolutely would never...
