Oriental Market — Local services in Terre Haute

We were really happy to Find an Asian grocery store last Sunday November 5th as We were Visiting Terra Haute. We got there around 7.15pm. I picked up few snack items mostly for $12. And my friend picked up few items as well. Overall they don't have a huge selection as it is a small store which is understandable. I was so happy to Find my Favorite brand Sky flakes that specialises in Crackers and I got the onion and Chive Flavour. The Crackers were so Stale and Tasted Horrible! I looked at the expiry date which is printed on the packaging in a small font and it Expired on March 18, 2017 ! I picked up Durian Wafers and The whole night I kept Burping. They were pretty bad! Called up my friend and told her to check the expiry date on her stuff and she said she ate the toasted bread only to find out it was Expired too! She was pretty upset about it as well.

Please check The expiry date on everything you buy. We are extremely disappointed that the store still had expired items...

Great store. They have a large variety of items to choose from. I specifically come here for udon noodles and different sauces and pastes. If you’re spending less than $15 (I believe) be sure to bring cash, as they have a minimum you need to spend in order to use your card. Understandable. Worth the stop to check out their stuff.
