Tried MOD pizza today looking for something a little different. It was what you would expect from a Subway style approach to pizza. I regularly visit Azzips and is really the only contender to compare too. So here goes...
Cleaniliness....Definitely 5 stars. Everything was clean, no grease, and tables were ready to go.
Friendly Customer Service...5 stars. Promptly greeted and explained how everything worked.
Food Quality....4 stars (comparing to Azzips). Food was good, more variety for toppings than Azzips and larger pizza. However more food doesn't necessarily mean better. The person making the pizza was stingy with the toppings including the sauce and forgot the ranch dressing. The pizza did not have a lot of flavor in comparison to comparable pizzas at Azzips.
Cost...3 stars. The pricing at MODS is higher than Azzips by about 20 percent. My pizza, garden salad and fountain drink was over 20.00 for a "fast food" style meal. At that price I could have gone to Olive Garden from the all you can eat soup and salad special.
Location....4 stars. Easy to get to and find.

Read moreWas helped there by the Assistant manager Jonah. It was me and my fiancés first time ever at a Mod pizza and we had traveled about two hours for it. He was very nice and professional about explaining the menu and how to go about ordering. He let us sample the topping as well and pointed out suggestions to us. Food came fast and hot. We also had a Caesar salad that was 10/10. Towards the end of the meal he actually came up and asked us our experience. We told him we loved it and he tossed us two free no name cakes for dessert on the house. Couldn’t have had better service. He needs a raise and to bumped up to manager. This Mod pizza because of this experience and affordability is now our go to whenever we are in...

It's a perfect pie for those days you swiped right but decided to subtly yet deliciously say the date isn't going anywhere. If they still come in for a first kiss, maybe you did find a winner. I apologize in advance if your soul mate...
