I consider Saratoga the hidden gem of Wabash. During my time at Indiana State as a student, I rarely went, but as I’ve gotten older, I’ve come to love it and wished a frequented it more. I recently had the pleasure of meeting George who informed me of the fresh remodel to the restaurant. For the safety of his guests, he purchased all new, tall, booths instead of putting an ugly plexiglass piece between the booths. I think this says a lot about how George wanted to keep the same classy feel that this restaurant has had for almost 80 years!

Best place in town for homemade desserts! My friends and I literally go there post dinner for just desserts Good lunch selection and variety of lunch items from Paninis to Middle Eastern entrees. The service is always great! Also love how they bring the dessert platter around to show exactly what you can get ( I eat with my eyes). Need to come back again for lunch and dinner. They remodeled since I'd last been here and it has a nice atmosphere inside. Most of the people I saw there were of the older/retired crowd.

I was introduced to Saratoga diring my final year at Indiana State University. I would forever be broke if I had found it earlier but so glad I finally did. Mind you I am old and they have been around that long. The fresh, quality ingredients are on point in every dish served. Hummus (as you might have experienced) can be a hit or miss but never a miss at Saratoga. Many items can be purchased for home. Imagine tubs of tabbouleh or whipped feta. Wait, I have some whipped feta. Gotta go...

Not Really Sure.. 🤔🤷‍♀️ I Could Be Wrong.. But What I Do Know Is It's One Of Indiana's Historical Restaurant Landmark's In My Honest Opinion.

That Has A Beautiful History That Lies Deep Within These Wall's Of This Building That's Been Serving The Community For A Very Long Time.

Many Decades Ago&Those Historic Pasttime's Are Attached To This Place.

Some People Would Call It A Vintage Pasttime Restaurant..

Other's Would Call It A Legendary Restaurant.

Regardless Of What The Local Regulars That Visit Here On A Daily/Weekly Basis Might Çonsider It Being.

&Their Conversation's Of What This Place Is&What It Means To Them.

There's Alot Of Truth In Their Vision Of This Building

Because Of The Restaurant's Historical Background.

&The Decade's Of History That's Not Only Attached To It,But Also Surround's The Entire Saratoga Restaurant.

The Historic Pasttimes&The Memorable Event's That Once Took Place Here Are Sadly Gone,😢

Yet All Those Historical Pasttimes&Memories Continues To Live On Within These Wall's Of This Restaurant Forever.

This Place Might Not Be For Everyone's Liking But I Can Honestly Say It Deserves A Small Chance From Everyone To Visit.

Experience It,&Let Saratoga Show You What It Has To Offer.

Their Menu Appears To Have A Fair Amount Of Moderate Priced Beverages&Food Selective Choices.

While Other Selective Choices Are Unmoderated Priced.

Yes It Might Appear Abit Pricey In Some Way's Or Another For Most Folk's...

But If You Take Some Time To View The Entire Menu,

You'll See That They Offer Alot Of Moderate Reasonable Priced Offering's.

Great Healthy Food Choices That Customer's Can Choose From When Ordering From The Menu.

New Selective Choices Are Added When They're Available.

Often Staffed With Very Nice&Friendly Folk's. Only 5% Of A Few Of Them That Aren't Very Nice

My Advice Is This: Just Ignore Them&Associate With The Nice Ones.

That's What I Do When Visiting Here Whenever I Pass Through The Town.

The Inside Dining Room Here At Saratoga's Is Decently Large Sized With A Very Fair Amount Of Spacious Area's

&Seating Seçtion's For Inside Dining Visitation's.

Same Can Be Said About The Outdoor Dining Area For The Outdoor Dining Visitation's.

The Dining Room Is A Great Place To Enjoy A Delicious Meal&For Some Relaxation

After Having A Busy Morning&Afternoon.

It's Also A Good Place For Friends&Family To Visit&Eat While Having Conversation's.

College Student's,Romantic Date's,Anniversary Date's For College Couple's,

Regular Couple's (Young/Elderly) Fellow Road Tripper's,

Tourist's&Many Other Great Reason's For Dining Room Usage,Just Too Many To List.

They Also Provide Catering Services,Curbside Pickup &Take Out Orders.

Not Sure About The Delivery Option.

Might Wanna Call Them&Ask About That Info,If Delivery Availability Is Provided Here Or Not.

They Might/Might Not Have That Service Offer Available For Customer's.

Saratoga Restaurant Is Family Owned.

It Has&Provide's Alot Of Great Special Memories That Surround's The Entire Existence Of Saratoga.

&The Family's Legacy Lies Deep Within These Wall's Just Like The Wonderful History Of This Place Does.

They Still Have The Original Saratoga Sign Displayed Outside Near The Parking Lot Area For Customer's To See A Piece Of History When Visiting.

Not Only An Original Saratoga Sign With History Attached To It..

But Most Importantly The Saratoga Sign Is Beloved&Is Very Special To The Owner's &The Entire Family Of This Wonderful Historical Restaurant.

It Has A Very Long Generational Family Seminal Value To It.

Because The Beloved Sign Has Alway's Been A Very Important Peice Of The Restaurant's History.

Because Of It Being In The Family For Many Generation's

From The Past.. To The Presence&The Future Generation's To Come.

I'd Recommend The Calamari, Mushroom Ravioli,Spinach Salad,&The Strawberry Fields Salad.

Which I Believe They Named After A Beatles Song. 😘 It's Absolutely...

This is an old restaurant that's been in this Indiana college town for half-century or more. They have some unusual hours, so a couple of times when we felt like going there, they were closed. We finally made it on a Wednesday night. Walking in it feels neighborhood comfortable it is supper club kind of way, right down to the very old neon sign proclaiming " Abe Malooley's Saratoga Bar-Cafe", and the ever so faint aroma of generations of cigarette smokers who no doubt enjoyed a martini or a scotch & soda at the cool old mid-century bar. A friendly and helpful staff, right down to the bartender who came to the table to make sure I wanted rye in my manhattan. The drinks were generous, and the blue Sycamore, a paen to the Indiana State Sycamores, was more than. The menu is moderately priced with a good array of choices. We started with the fried calamari with Asian wasabi sauce, and found it delicious. My wife and daughter both chose, and enjoyed, the goat cheese and (house made) pepper jelly burger. My wife noted the fact that her medium burger had just that nice touch of pink, not overdone like it is so often. I tasted her sweet potato fries, and they were really good. I had the breaded catfish, it arrived at the table really hot, and the breaded batter was delicious, the fish very moist. I had the bourbon frosted cake for dessert, it was killer good! We had a fine time at Saratoga, and we'll...

We made reservations at the Saratoga for a 70th birthday celebration for family members. They were incredibly accommodating of our large group, and even though the restaurant was very busy that evening, the service was amazing! We had two small children in our group and the staff were so lovely, waving to them from the kitchen and giving them hats. You can certainly tell the restaurant is ran by a local family.

I've also eaten at a lot of restaurants in the area, as we live in Indianapolis and have family in Terre Haute, and I can honestly say the Saratoga hands down has the best food in this area. Do not miss out on the calamari or the spinach and artichoke dip - both are truly the best I've ever had! The special homemade cheesecake is also to DIE FOR (also the best I've ever had - and I love cheesecake). My husband ordered the prime rib, and it was fantastic. He also said it was on his list of one of the best meals. We met family for breakfast the next day and couldn't stop raving about how great of an experience and meal we had! Do not miss out on...
