Nice place but the marketing/administrative assistant committed dishonest and malicious actions, publishing false information that had a negative effect on me and everything I had ever worked for. I didn't deserve that as I did everything I could to improve her situation. In person, she was appreciative of the actions taken but in public, she smeared me, as I was nearly the only employee of the company at the time, and was the Only visible employee. Which was the point. She even said, "I feel bad for you." Even though she was the one who created the situation that made things bad. Even after she did this, I continued to listen to her issues and help her. But she never clarified anything, she never corrected the fact that she smeared me out of spite for things I had no part in and never retracted her many false statements and mischaracterizations. Her only concern was she might be held accountable for her actions. Not how she affected anyone else. I have worked hard all of my life, graduated college in this town, and would never dream of getting a thrill out of ruining someone's life. When I asked her to correct the damaging falsehoods, false statistics and innuendos that I was to blame for a situation she refused to remove her self from (because in reality she was content enough with her situation, yet she publicly spread a narrative to the contrary) my request was ignored because her intent was to damage me. This is the type of person you have representing you as the marketing/administrative assistant at the Terre Haute Convention Center. Disgusting, that's so gross and wrong. You don't do that to people that did nothing to you. But she does. What a joke. In closing, I'd like to say, some people think ethics and values are unimportant. Some people think it's ok to deliberately post defamatory content. In this age of "authenticity," people like this are getting called out and for good reason. You don't get to determine someone's trajectory under false pretenses. I still don't understand Why you even wanted to. But you really didn't ruin anything, you just exposed your bloated, petty, entitled and hateful nature. It's not okay what you did but you can live...

Read moreThe family came to the Miracle of 7th Street. It was raining outside, but it was warm and dry inside this year. All the vendors were great. I spent too much money. My kids got to see Santa 🎅 .. The building is great and a great asset to Terre Haute. All the facility staff I ran into were great. I even had a spiked egg nog and it was delicious. Can't wait to come back on New Years.
