Greetings fellow review readers, Let me start by saying this place is the absolute worse place to go if you are plant-based /vegan… and it’s unfortunate because in Texarkana it’s like maybe 2 other places to go if you monitor what you eat in that way. Sarah Harvey has to be one of the most unprofessional people I’ve noticed while here. I was told that the children burgers and adult burgers are the same and the only difference is the fry size. I said well in that case I’d like to make my children meals with a vegan burger. (We are plant based) The cashier obliged by stating she can’t see why it would be a problem since everything is the same except the fry size. It’s simply just supply the kids meal with a vegan patty. The manager kicked it back down. I asked the manager could she explain why… she said well because it’s not on the kids menu. I said “to clarify, the patties are all the same size it’s just the fry size?” To which she replied “yes” I said “so are you now saying that children can’t be vegan? They can only choose between beef and chicken?” This entire time SARAH is sitting right there. The entire staff is stomped because the question makes sense but they can’t justify why I can only choose those options for my children if the vegan patty is the same, why not put it in place of a beef patty on the children’s meal. Sarah then begins to avoid my family, the cashier said “my main boss says no” I ask the cashier is the lady avoiding them and avoiding eye contact the “main boss” she says “yes”. Then Sarah tells them to tell me I can order all the items separately, which is no longer a kids meal, it’s is now an adult meal for a 6 year child. Which it would be something so simple as to replace the meat with plant based. In all this time Sarah is still not taking her rightful place as the “main boss” and ran to the back to avoiding her responsibilities as a store manager. Even if Sarah would tell me the same thing as the workers, it is a line of new customers, a confused new customer and a confused staff… because the staff is still telling me a unsure yes and a unsure no. Then I place my order and ask is there a way I can speak with corporate (yes I went there), because I didn’t want to hold the line up with a thousand questions. They give me SARAH card with the store number on there. You mean the same Sarah that avoided me in the store and left her staff confused? Yes the same Sarah. I’ll pass. I feel sorry for the workers there. I’m sure they don’t feel heard and when needing to speak with someone, they are mentally taken thru so much.
Giving me the store number, with the name on the card being person name who I have an issue with, then telling me to discuss my issue with that person. Is like making a complaint of discrimination and then having to file the complaint thru the person’s office that discriminated against you…
If I could zero stars I would, but I have to give them a star to leave a...
Read moreThere is so much to be said in reference to the experience that I've had here today. I must point out the excellence in Justice. She was very adament in making sure that I was having the best experience possible in spite of her being so very busy with the current customer volume. She even offered to refill my drink even though they don't have actual waitresses there. Im not sure if they all act this way, but the ones I dealt with today was nothing sort of amazing. Justice will be one of the reasons why I choose to go back to this establishment. She's so pleasing to deal with. Awesome customer service.
Also, i must say, the GM there, Ms. Sarah Harvey was amazing. I love her customer sevice and her welcoming demeanor when it comes to the way that she talks to you with strong eye contact; allowing you to know that she's sincere about any concerns that you may have while being there. The atomosphere of this plae with awesome, maily probably because of the location with all of the windows. Either way, I will definitley recommend this place to my friends and family. Food was amazing as well. Oh, and to Ms. Harvey, as long as you're there, you have a LIFETIME...
Read moreCalling this a burger joint seems to miss any consideration for a little welcome variety, quality, and pricing. Burgers, including Black Angus certified meat choices, are not those we are accustomed to from the major burger chains. These are more grown-up than that familiar 'two all-beef patties'. Insomuch, these burgers at least break the monotony of those drive-thrus.
You shouldn't be shocked to see a large order of fries priced at $4.99, but expect that this should serve anywhere from two to four people. Today's visit cost over $23 for a burger, a cheeseburger, a large size fries, and two regular drinks.
Burgers are cooked to order while you wait. A variety of bun choices, cheeses to choose from, and an nearly endless other toppings give the old 'burger queen' style hamurgers were used to a little sophistication that feels more grown up in some ways. Free drink refills are for the drinking at the restaurant's self serve drink station. For deserts, Mooyah Milkshakes are also made to order.
Atmosphere is open with large dining area for patrons to enjoy tables or booths.
For entertainment, a large chalkboard on the wall invites children's doodles...
