I ordered online this evening at 6:15, site said food would be ready at 6:33. Got to location at 6:38 and walked in. Told food was not ready and would not be ready unless I went though the drive thru do to being short staffed.
After replying that I ordered online for in store pick up my order should be ready at the counter and not have to sit 15 mins in the drive thru. I was told that I was wrong and had to go thru the drive thru. I again replied that I should not have to that the food was supposed to already be ready due to payment made and instructions from the site was for in store pick up. I was told to go back to my car and my food would be brought out to me.
After about five mins a young lady came out and got an attitude with me and told me that my order wasn't ready and the only way I was going to get it was to go though the drive thru. She got very loud and very agitated, I couldn't exactly make out everything she was saying but it would not surprise me to find out that she was cruising me out with her back turned.
She went back inside and locked the door while I was asking for a manager or supervisor. Surely there was another way to handle this situation to complete an online instore pick up especially after walking in two employees where leaning on the counter. An attitude was not required or necessary. The order should have at the very lest been made and ready to go regardless of the "need to go though the drive thru". Employee's should be at the minimum be ready to toss an issue up to the next level supervisor if they feel that their customer is being unreasonable to have their suspensions verified.
By 6:45 It become apparent that I was not in fact be able to receive my food. I guess in the long run they saved me money. This location use to be the good one and has for sure fallen down over the years.
Whelp guess I won't have to worry about going there ever again, and letting everyone that I know in person or otherwise about the complete disrespect that the staffing has at this location. While I realize that me personally never going back there will not make all that much difference hopefully I will save a few people from wasting some time...
Read moreI ordered on line a 16 piece Spicy for just under $50.00. Picked it up and went home and when I unloaded the bag I realized it was missing 9 pieces. I didn't think you had to check before you drove off. I called back and NO answer, so I then drove back. Told the assistant manager that I had pieces mixing and usually they have 2 big boxes and I only received 1. He said they had put it in the bag, obviously NOT or wouldn't have gone back for what I purchased. He REFUSED to give me my chicken. He then called the manager on the phone and she said she packaged it and it was there. Another words, they BOTH said, I WAS LYING. How COMPLETELY INSULTING. He said because I ordered on the app they couldn't give me what I paid for. How stupid was that answer. Someone ahead of ne or behind received my order. I wanted to call the cops because that was stilling. DO NOT GO HERE. THEY ARE THEIVES. THEY CALLED ME A LIAR. THEY NEED TO BE FIRED. THIS IS THE MOST INSULTED INHAVE EVER BEEN. I contacted someone from the app. They actually wanted to give me points on my app, I refused, especially since I just visited Popeyes for the LAST time. I wanted my money back, and they gave it back, BUT they refused to give me what I paid for at this location. Have you ever heard anything so ridiculous. That's stilling. THEY BOTH NEED...
Read moreWhere do I begin? This location is under new management now. Before, the chicken was always hot, but the professionalism was not. Now, the service is better but my last visit I received SPOILED red beans and rice. As I ate it initially, I was thinking “did they switch up on the recipe”? Then, I gagged and realized that it was actually spoiled. I was so sick! Literally and figuratively. I called the store about 6 times before they answered. Was put on hold and then forgotten about. I eventually hung up after about 20 mins. It’s just ridiculous. To think that they’re serving spoiled food, makes you wonder about quality control. I’d much rather a different restaurant take their place since they can’t seem to get their affairs in order. I’d also love to actually hear back from a manager, but I won’t hold my breath. Save yourselves the trip to the ER and eat somewhere else.
UPDATE: Out of lack of my better judgment, I thought I’d give them one more try. In pure Popeyes #3499 form, they didn’t fail to disappoint. This time, I was sold and served what I can’t even describe other than ‘diseased looking’ Mac and Cheese. Take a look for yourselves. Something is wrong at this location and they need to...
