Went in for my birthday with some friends on a Wednesday night around 8, we were a big group of 12. We had Nicole as our waitress and it was overall the worst experience Iâve ever had at a restaurant. From the beginning to end everything was horrible. Our drinks were sitting at the bar for 30-45 minutes until our waitress decided to bring them out to us. A draft beer took 30 minutes to get to the table. Our appetizers all took an hour to hit the table. Nicole took all of our orders in details and repeated them to us several times, when the food finally came out after 2 hours of us being there everything was wrong. Half of our table didnât even get their food because Nicole rang in the wrong entrees and when we asked her about it her excuse was that the computer didnât have a button for what we ordered (despite it being on the menu clear as day) so she âjust rang in something similarâ. When all the orders had wrong sides she blatantly told us that âthere were too many options so she just started clicking stuffââŚâŚ All of us at the table are servers/bartenders so we tried to be lenient but there was no excuse, it was just laziness at that point. The other half of our tables food came out cold and soggy, cheeseburgers with no cheese on them, wrong side orders, etc etc. We finally got a manager involved because there were too many things that went wrong, German came to our table not sure if he was the manager but he was very apologetic and comped our meals for us because we had such a horrible experience. Nicole never came back to the table not once to apologize or check on us after we sent back the food, she was very unprofessional and does not belong in the food industry service AT ALL. Whoever the GM of this restaurant is needs to fire her and realize theyâre losing out on money because of her mistakes!! (The guy who came to our table said this was not the first time this has happened with this particular waitress) Overall, we could have understood if the restaurant was at least a little busy but it was so dead in there we could hear a pen drop so there was just no justifying...
   Read moreDear Stuttgarden Tavern Management,
I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding an incident that occurred at your establishment on the evening of February 20, during the micro-wrestling event. I feel compelled to share my experience, as it left me feeling disrespected and unfairly treated.
At one point during the evening, I needed to use the restroom and cut behind the bar to reach it. After returning to the bar, I politely apologized to the bartender for any inconvenience I may have caused. Unfortunately, despite my apology, the bartender responded in a condescending manner, which I found uncalled for.
As I was leaving the bar area to return to the event, the manager abruptly stopped me and told me to close my tab and leave. I calmly attempted to explain the situation, but my efforts were dismissed, and I was even threatened with police involvement. I am a 100% disabled veteran, and I can assure you that I did nothing to provoke this reaction. I did not engage in any inappropriate behavior, nor did I cause any harm to your establishment that would warrant such treatment.
What is even more concerning is that I am now aware that I am not the only person to experience such treatment at your establishment. I am the second African American I know who has faced this same kind of behavior. This pattern of poor customer service is troubling, and I feel it is important to raise awareness, particularly within the veteran and African American communities. I will be reaching out to veteran media outlets and networks to share my experience, as I believe others should be warned about the way I was treated at your business.
I sincerely hope that you take this complaint seriously and investigate the matter. No customer, especially a veteran who has served this country, should be subjected to...
Read moreOkay so I've been to the Stutt Garden in Galveston and was excited to hear there was one closer to League City but after placing a to go order today, I was thoroughly disappointed. I stood in there for a solid five minutes while no one came to help me, but cool, whatever everyone looks past people at some point or another so I moved to a different spot in hope to get noticed...nope. probably another 10 minutes before a guy had to tell a girl working that I have been standing there with money in hand, waiting to be helped. They were not particularly pleasant on the phone, nor in person but again, whatever. Got my food so I basically forgot that I was unhappy. We had mozzarella sticks, pulled pork nachos and a buffalo chicken sandwich. Nachos were good but the galveston location definitely gives you more. Mozzarella sticks didnt have marinara, which is super disappointing because who likes one without the other?! Then we get to the buffalo chicken sandwich and there was NO bun! I kid you not đđ how do you forget bread on a sandwich?! Hoping that the kemah location is a little better. I refuse to give up considering how much I love the...
