The ribeye steak sandwich tonight was just terrible. It was like a bunch of meat cuts all put together in one little deal and then glued with a meat glue to hold it all in place. It was not an actual ribeye, just not very good, and the amount of fries that I received. Well, it's just for the price that I paid was just Astronomical meaningless, you might as well not even put fries on the f* plate and just charge me for fries that you don't want to give me. It was ridiculous of how a small amount of fries the sweet potato fries I got and um yeah, so I just I don't know. The place has been 5 years ago I made this post. And uh, the attitude is still here. The owner seems like they don't care um 5 years ago. When they started this place or whatever, however long it's been, they just never had the attitude of being in the business. It's like it's too much work. I think is what they think it is. And running a restaurant is a hell of a lot of work. I've worked in many restaurants in my life. In my career as a chef, I know how to run Em. They are a lot of work. You have to put blood sweat and tears into your baby to make it work, but enough on that. The ribeye steak sandwich was just horrible, not a very good sandwich, not worth 1799. Might have been worth 299. Now, if I really wanted a fake piece of meat, but I can promise you that it's not USA. D grade a beef. Um, it might have been great. D or even greedy and hell I wouldn't even feed that to my cow or my horse. So on that note this post is done, and it's gonna get Upload it wish the staff had a little better attitude but the burgers were very good. A little pricey...
Read moreBeyond Burger was the perfect place for a lunch outing on a Sunday! The atmosphere is a modern take on a rustic classic with wood paneling and exposed joists and gables throughout. The walls and ceilings are loaded with vintage pop culture memorabilia.
The food was fantastic and reasonably priced. Juicy burgers, grilled to perfection, and custom made to order (I highly recommend the Mile High Burger).
Perhaps some of the best fries that I have ever eaten. The Wedge Fries are cut with Ridges and manage to be both crisp on the edges and ridges yet tender inside. Top them with free warm nacho cheese from the toppings bar and they are irresistible!
The courteous and friendly staff are warm and expert at keeping things moving. My burger and fries were ready within 10 minutes, despite being a very specific custom order (Mile High Burger, add Cheddar and Hard Fried Egg).
The free unlimited toppings bar is literally unmatched by any other burger joint I've ever eaten in. You simply MUST try the Gourmet Bread & Butter Pickles!!!
All-In-All, for a great gourmet burger in an upscale environment at near fast food prices... Beyond Burger in Texas City, Texas is...
Read moreAlright first off I owe Beyond Burger an apology for pre judging them. I honestly thought, having done no research or nothing, that they served fake beef burgers. Since I thought that I swore I would never eat there. I was dead wrong!
My fam was in town and we were looking for a place to eat since our go to was closed. My dad suggested this place and I said “no they serve fake beef” he looked it up and was like no they don’t. I said well okay then let’s try it.
The burger was awesome! I got 1 whole pound of quality BEEF, on a fresh bun toasted bun that they bake every day. You can build your own. They serve kind of a crinkle cut wedge fry witch was pretty good. They have some options for the yuppies and children if you need that sorta thing.
They have a very cool inside too. All sorts of things up on the wall and hanging from the ceiling from sports, to racing, to classic drive in type decorations. This is a very cool place.
10/10 going back for another. I do recommend a name change. Just google beyond burger and you...
