I have been a resident of Pecan Grove for 12 years and love the breakfast from 9ers and started to venture out to Dinner. 08.31 I went in for dinner and ordered the ribeye steak MR. Its supposed to Grilled and cooked to perfection and it was cooked on the flat top and over cooked. The size of steak looked respectable but I dont know if they try and cut their own or has a bad vendor who delivers their product. no grill marks, over cooked.....and looked funky. I walked up to the cooks and before I could tell them anything......I noticed the grease in stripes coming down from their Hood system....I was thinking safety hazard and pondered about the cleanliness behind the line! Didnt want to cause a stir.....I ate it and wont go back for dinner.
**Update on 09.06 I called the Restaurant per your request and asked to speak to a manager. I was politely put on hold and 20 seconds later a female voice came on the line and introduced herself and I asked if she was the manager on duty and she said yes. I told her that I was calling back per your request about an incident I had at the Restaurant on 08.31. At that point in time she replied "OK" what happen? I didnt feel like rehashing the experience again from 08.31 because I had submitted it in writing already so I said apparently you are unaware of it and thanked her for time. In summary I guess 9'ers doesn't really care about what a guest thinks otherwise I would have thought a "Manager" who ever it might be would have been aware it. Like I said before....I wont go...
Read moreI knew it was a matter of time, no customer service. They just opened and I’ve been here at least three times since. 2/3 times I’ve had issues. Once with pricing and sides. I get the exact same thing for lunch. And has been different prices. When I asked, the cashier responded, “oh it’s because I didn’t see what you had on your tray”. That would be the first thing to look for in an a la cart line before checking out. Just tried to go in today for lunch, as usual And get my usual salad. Trisha the salad looked yellow and not fresh at all. I politely asked if I could get fresh lettuce. The server then went and spoke to her manager, I don’t know why. But he came back and said he doesn’t have fresh salad….. I asked if they don’t have fresh salad at all? And would they be serving that yellow salad all day till non left?… he then said, will serve till its gone, then I’ll refill it. Honestly the salad looked a few days old. I’m not an expert. But what I do know, is I’ve gotten salad there every other time and it didn’t not look like that. The business that was there before had the same problem with customer service, and that’s why it’s no longer there. The same reason why I didn’t waste my money on a place that have rude servers. Besides the lack of customer service, the...
Read moreThe cashier was super nice. I ordered fajitas but l did not want the rice and beans because the last time was cold and the taste was bad. I asked the cashier if l can replace it just for fries. There were two cooks taking each other who took a bad look to see who was trying to make changes and in the sarcastic way looking at me, they said “NO”. I don’t mind to pay extra but they need manners. The time before l came around 8 pm on Wednesday and the old Spanish lady cleaning the tables was rude when my husband asked for mayo. And she was rude and said to wait! I do pay for the service!. I do understand Spanish so it’s sad when they talk about customers. If the cook who was the same that the last time and the old Spanish lady don’t show manners, your restaurant will loose a lot of customers. Of course, this is my last time. I wasn’t the only customer that this lady was rude. I came every week and when she is here l prefer not to ask for anything else, because she...
