Honestly, I would only consider going to the Vintage Park location from now on. The service at this location is among the least helpful and least trained I’ve encountered. It seems the staff is mostly made up of undertrained high school students who aren’t willing to find answers, or adults who simply don’t care. Both of my recent visits have been disappointing.
My most recent experience was the final straw. I went in to use my birthday reward. After placing my order, I told the young lady at the register that I had the reward. She rang up the cost and insisted I needed to pay first before applying the reward. I clarified her instructions, as this wasn’t how it usually worked, but she assured me it was correct. So, I paid, then the tip screen popped up, and that’s when she realized my reward would typically apply there. When I asked if she could cancel and redo the transaction to apply my reward, she seemed confused. I suggested I could order online instead, and she agreed. Eventually, another employee helped her void the transaction.
I attempted to place the order on the app and website, but the muffins and croissants weren’t available there. After several minutes of searching, I asked for help. She simply responded, “I don’t know,” without asking the other adult for assistance. It was frustrating to be met with a blank stare, as though she expected me to just give up—which, ultimately, I did.
It’s disappointing that the managers at this location don’t prioritize training or ensuring staff have the support to assist customers. My previous experience was similar; I waited around for minutes while a young employee struggled to navigate the POS system, repeatedly calling someone over for help.
While the food here is good, the poor service at this location isn’t worth the effort. With my birthday reward expiring today and I don't have more time to stop , this is even more...
Read moreI order from this location at least once a week for my 3 kids, always same thing Nutella crepe with side of fruits because when you order online it’s required to chose fruit, salad or soup. Just wanted to say my kids are very specific about their food one of them is autistic and he like his food exact same way every time. I bring the crepes home and it has little Nutella and tons of bananas inside. So my son refuses to eat and gets very upset he is non verbal. I called Cocoa right away and told them about the mistake they made. What I heard was from their manager that it had fruit and they didn’t have anything so they just shoved the bananas inside and I asked would they put soup inside of the crepe too if I asked for soup on the side? I asked them nicely to please make me different just Nutella crepe with nothing inside and no fruit on the side too but they refused. I asked for the name of their manager and I was just left hanging on the phone. They lost a customer and I’ll be leaving a review in our local Towne Lake group for my neighbors too so they know not to go there. Instead I just went to Sleek on 290 and got my boys crepes for them Cocos crepes went to trash. Attaching the screenshot about a side of fruit and tat if you want to add bananas it’s extra charge and I didn’t chose...
Read moreYesterday, I visited this place with great excitement, hoping to share a new and enjoyable experience with my family during our trip to Houston as tourists. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a big disappointment. When we tried to place our order, we were met with completely disrespectful behavior from the cashier. While English is not our native language, we did our best to communicate, but instead of showing patience or kindness, the cashier chose to mock us.
What’s worse, he stopped listening to our order to chat and joke around with his coworkers, completely ignoring our presence. When I stepped in to help my family, his attitude only worsened: he rolled his eyes at me, threw the order number card at me, and rudely snatched the payment card from my hand.
If this person lacks the basic principles of customer service, I don’t understand why they are in that role. This experience left a bad taste, both figuratively and literally, as it was hard to enjoy the food after being treated so poorly.
I hope the owner or manager addresses this issue. This place has potential, but customer service is key, and attitudes like this drive customers away, especially those who arrive with high expectations like we did. If I visit Houston again, I wouldn’t return...
