I really was looking forward to visiting this coffee shop after reading the reviews. I drive by the location daily. It was a cold day in the mid morning and I wanted to try a new coffee shop I hadn't been to. The interior is quaint and there was lots of seating. I didn't see a bathroom or signage for bathrooms, however. The older woman at the counter didn't greet us and we waited at the counter until she asked for our order. The two other people that came with me placed their order and she asked if this was our first time here and when we said yes she didn't welcome us but instead pointed to the menu for our selection and then pointed to the carafes for the coffee of the day. I inquired about tea and she pointed to a small basket with about 10 tea bags in it. I made my selection and she prepared our order. The woman asked what kind of milk was for the cappuccino and my friend asked for 2%. The woman pointed impatiently to the board again where it stated whole, soy or oat milk. We selected a nearby table while we waited for our order, I noticed that the order was being placed in disposable cups - we were not asked if our prder was to go. So I inquired if I could have my tea in a mug or tea cup - not an unusual request for a private owned coffee shop in my experience. The woman looked at me as if I asked something out of the ordinary. She stated that they did have mugs, pointing to a mug tree with Christmas mugs and then to a few cute mugs hanging on a wall. She then stated that people want their coffee in paper because of COVID but if I wanted a ceramic cup I could choose one. Mind you, this statement definitely was made to talk me out of anything but a disposable cup. I was in a good mood that day so I told her that I did want a mug adding that I like to enjoy the full coffee house experience with a tea cup/mug. She literally huffed and rolled her eyes - I was surprised and realized she was either 1) having a bad day or 2) we threw off her service rhythm. She took the coffee cup from the wall that I selected and then stated again that I could choose a mug from the mug tree on the counter. I felt that I was putting her out, and didn't want to make things complicated, so I took a mug from the mug tree. In the meantime, she looked into the mug I initially chose and said it was dirty and then she blew into it like she was trying to blow dust out. I handed her the mug I chose. She had already poured the hot water into a disposable cup with my tea bag in it and she reluctantly asked if I wanted a new cup of tea or she could just pour the contents into the mug. I just wanted the awkward exchange to stop and just drink my tea. I told her not to worry and I took both cups and I poured the tea into the mug after I sat down. I asked for a cup of water and she said that they only had bottled water since the water was contaminated. She added it had made the news. She then quickly walked back her statement by saying "but the coffee machine filters the water for the coffee." I also ordered two muffins as I saw that they had a 2 for $6 special. She looked so put out as she got the two muffins I wanted. She fumbled around under the counter and I saw she produced two small ceramic plates for the muffins. I really felt she was doing something she normally doesn't do. She microwaved the muffins and I took them to our seating area. There was another man working behind the counter cleaning and tidying up. We're these the owners? I overheard her complaining to this man about something I wish I hadn't heard, since this visit was already unpleasant. As a last ditch effort for pleasant small talk, I thanked her and said I enjoyed the coffee shop. She didn't look up to us as she said 'have a good day'. In short, we felt unwelcome. We were the only patrons there, but we felt as if we were bothering the woman, and overall, we were not impressed. Cute interior with mismatched furnishings and decorations. Not kid friendly due to breakable decorations. Not coming back. Do...

She seemed annoyed whenever people came in and like just in a sour mood. I kept looking for prices and trying to find a menu i voiced this a couple times and finally just asked the guy if they had any menus to see everything listed. They do not. They also only had omelettes apparently every Sunday it's something different like waffles or other breakfast foods ect.
So we ordered and after we ordered and were waiting for our two drinks and one omelette I threw in their tip jar a 5$ tip. Still unsure how much this would be but it was just two drinks and a small omelette.
The omelette came with a muffin and some fruit on the side. It was ok. And a soft omelette with spinach bacon onions and cheese.
Then there was our two frappes. Which were, not bad, but also not very good. U couldn't taste the coffee, you couldn't taste much of anything actually except the chocolate syrup it was smothered in. Mine literally was so dark it only taste like I'm drinking chocolate syrup out of the bottle. Or the milk for my partners caramel frappe. He started choking on the pocket of milk foam in it. We didn't get size options either so I guess they have one size only?
When I went to pay it was over 33$ and change for our order. ...... So that's about
8$ per drink And 15$ for an ok omelette.
With my tip it was 38$ and change.
So to me in my honest opinion that's just not worth it to me. If you want to spend a lot of money that has prices higher than any Starbucks I've ever been too, to support a small business for mid food and coffee. Be my guest. It was just disappointing. Especially since
I know that for under 35$ me and my fiance could have gotten two full meals we know we like for both of us and not just one of us and drinks with unlimited refills at IHOP.
Or better yet we could have gotten a kolachie for both of us and donuts to take home and eat and two frappes that taste way better at Karma for under 21$.
Or at Citi coffee we could have gotten the best tasting frappes we have ever had and donuts and breakfast tacos for under 25$.
And at Starbucks we never went over 23$ for my breakfast food and our two larger frappes than this place. That taste better.
It was ok. Just not worth it to me. Sorry if this sounds harsh I just say it how I see it. And for wanting a quick breakfast there's just a lot of other places that are better and won't burn a hole in it wallet.
Ps the food made me sick to the stomach. 15 minutes later :( guess this is how I'll be...

I really wanted to like this place, I love the old hole in the wall vibe with cute mugs and outdoor seating options, but when you order an espresso drink at a cafe, you expect it to have fresh espresso. Especially at a place where their storefront says “coffee” in giant letters. I ordered iced latte, which I have never seen a cafe get this wrong, and I see the guy pull out a pitcher of what looks like refrigerated brewed coffee or cold brew and proceeds to pour it over ice and then pour milk on it. If I wanted iced coffee or cold brew with milk, I’d say that. Not latte.. Latte is a single or double shot of espresso with steamed (or cold frothed) milk. Espresso has the bold flavor of coffee and rich texture from the crema but not as much caffeine as a brewed coffee. Longer the coffee grounds sit in water, higher the caffeine content. The guy was so nice, but I can’t imagine what I would have gotten had I ordered my usual cortado or doppio con pana, or even an iced americano. With that said, the coffee I got was mediocre. I drank a little and gave away the rest to my husband since I didn’t want all that caffeine. Nothing more than what you would get in your office coffee machine. The pastry, however, was good. I just wished I had my latte to enjoy it with. Also, please label your pastries (even a marker on your glass display would do) so that customers can easily make decisions and make the ordering faster (the next customer in line can look and decide before they get to the front). Bottom line, if you want a more reliable coffee and can drive a bit further, I’d say try Zunzun on telge. I will give Crescent Moon another try and edit accordingly, but looks like not many of their customers with good reviews have ordered an espresso drink, let alone coffee drink. Which does not give...
