This place not only has metal bars on its windows, but also doesn’t have any sign outside about birria tacos-it says ice cream….Once inside, the only people there were my husband and I, a woman and a sweet young girl who greeted us in Spanish. I figured we were getting food after being seated and with menus on the table, but what happened next was incredible-I saw the same young woman bringing in grocery bags and I did not see her again until I went to look for her-she was organizing her stuff calmly and when I asked her who was taking care of us, she got of her stool and was about to take the order, but I was very uneasy and I asked her if she was the only person working in the little restaurant and she said yes-that’s when we left. I cannot imagine the quality of the birria tacos when one person is unloading and organizing food, taking orders, cooking and manning the register. Absolutely insane. I went then to another place that sells birria tacos and it was the antithesis of Roli’s bites-it was full of costumers, about a dozen employees and very delicious food. I love the food here and service has been great these past few times. However, today was NOT the case! The owners and employees a very nice, but they failed to meet not only my expectations but a few other customers as well. We dined in and ordered our usual and then proceeded to order something else to go to have it ready once we were done eating. We waited at least 30 mins after we were done eating for a quesadilla, we had to ask about 4 times if our to go plate was ready and was told they were going to check on it. I got up one last time and waited until my food was ready. It’s ridiculous the amount of times we had to ask where our food was. There were other unhappy customers as well because they were on the same boat, I know i wasn’t the only one giving them a hard time. I understand there are days that business is crazy but it’s not okay to keep telling customers they’ll go check and never give an update.
