I've seen them around but never stopped by. I was going to another food joint next door, and so I read MOD's menu. It was the Chipotle/ Subway model, but for Pizza. I was excited that for the same price I could have what ever I wanted. No $2 charge for each additional ingredient. I think they have everything you could want - even anchovies. If you want everything they offer for no additional cost you walk out with, like a one inch high pizza. I'm not excited about the gluttony that could be experienced, but I do love that I can have exactly what I want - the most or the lest - for the same price. I hate ordering a pepperoni pizza and adding onions and green peppers and the price bounces $4. Not here. I even ask for cheese on the bottom, and then I trick them and ask for it on the top. They just smile and load it up. They seem to have decent quality ingredients based on my fairly experienced eyes and palette. I haven't lab tested anything, but it is very good pizza. The best part is that they have a zillion degree rotary pizza oven. If you order, run out to your car to find the phone you forgot, there is a very good chance your pizza will be waiting when you return - hotter than Hades, with just the right crunch. I really like it! (Made On Demand ? I think) The atmosphere? What can I say? It's clean, has a wall to wall collage of people and pizza. It's as good as any Subway/Chipotle type quick-eats restaurant. Do we go to this type of restaurants for the...
Read moreI'm rating this a 3, not because of the quality of the pizza but because of the lack of protocol being followed. MOD Pizza has a sign enforcing masks, but don't enforce people to wear it while entering/waiting in line. They also do not seem to care when maskless people move signs that say "do not sit here" (I'm paraphrasing the sign). If you are going to have a mandatory mask sign and signs on the tables keeping people from sitting there, you need to enforce them. Do not even get me started on employees having to get on to other employees because they were leaving there post...
Now, as far as quality of the pizza...it is ok. This was my second time having their pizza. First time actually dining in. I do not feel like the price represents the quality. The pizza was greasy and it felt like the employees skimped on some ingredients. I felt obligated to eat my whole pizza, even though I wasn't enjoying it. I feel like it is more enjoyable if you are drunk and everything tastes good.
Will I go back? Probably. It's the only pizza place around that isn't bought from Kroger. Will I eat it there? No. I already put my life at risk daily as I go to work and surround myself with about 100 people daily. I need to feel comfortable going into public and that means, companies need to enforce their mandatory mask if there is a sign posted.
I honestly don't know why everyone over glorifies MOD Pizza. It had our expectations set really high, only for them to be shattered...
Read moreWorst M.O.D. Pizza I have ever been to. For starters the pizza was under cooked and the toppings were still cold and you may think it was a simple accident because they were busy but no, we were the only customers at the time just 3 people. Second my mother is gluten sensitive so we figured this would be the best place for her due to the restaurant chain being able to accommodate allergies but no what happened was after our 2 flour based crusts were handled they didn't swap gloves so they grabbed the gluten free option with gluten on their hands and cross contaminated everything, then there were the toppings they had been trown around and everything was mixed with things they shouldn't. Once the pizzas were in the oven they handed us our cups to get drinks and let me tell you everything on that soda machine screamed disease everything was sticky and extremely unclean and not just the soda machine but all the tables as well. There was still peices of food on the tables so once our pizzas were done we left and went to eat in the car once we got on and drove away we started to eat and thats when we realized the pizzas were under cooked and it wasn't like we drove a long distance we just parked at freddys so we could use the restroom. Speaking of restrooms ive seen abandoned porta pottys cleaner than that, its not hard to clean a bathroom don...
