I spent so much time and money here back in the late 90's into the 2000's that I am pretty sure I single-handedly funded the new location in Humble and the renovations that were done in Crosby. The only time I did not eat here 2-3 times a week was when I was out of town. We knew almost every server and they would seat us and bring us our drinks without even having to ask.
Once evening, I sat down with the family and halfway through the meal, noticed that there was a bug in the pico de gallo. Not wanting to cause a scene, I motioned to one of the waiters and politely pointed out the bug. To my surprise, he reached over and plucked the bug from my food and shoved my plate back to me as if to tell me to continue eating...
Disgusted at this point, I waived over the owner who just happened to be in the Crosby location and explained to him what had happened. He generously comped the meal, and we left.
Fast forward a few weeks later and we decided to give them another try after our 3 week break from the restaurant. When we walked in, we greeted by the normal faces and promptly seated. As our drinks were being delivered to the table, we noticed that the ice in the glasses had a strange yellow tint to them, almost as if dye was placed in the ice machine. When I asked about this, they stated that they had just cleaned the ice machine, and not all of the chemicals were washed out yet.
At that point, it was the last straw. We knew the owner was busy setting up the new location in Humble, but the quality of the Crosby location had taken a dive from which I don't think it will ever recover from. I know at least 20 people with similar experiences at this location, and all have sworn off...

We ordered chicken and beef fajita dinner for 60 ppl for an event. From the initial quote, to calling back and scheduling our order, the delivery and pickup it was all EXCELLENT! The price was reasonable. They delivered on time. Customer service is amazing!!
They brought the food in food warmers and the food stayed warm all night long! The food was incredibly amazing! The fajita meat was so tender and just melted in our mouths! The beans, rice and queso was just as delicious! Chips and salsa was delicious! We never ran out of food. They brought all the condiments, sour cream, guacamole, shredded cheese, You name it! Plates napkins, cups, cutlery. They even brought ice and a pack of aluminum pans for our leftovers, which we wasn’t expecting and we were very grateful for. Everything we needed was there! The sweet tea was quite good too! Everyone was impressed and asked us where we ordered the food from. Of course we told everyone HECTORS in Crosby. Thank you Hectors for helping make our event memorable! We appreciate everything! You guys rock! We will definitely order from this restaurant again! Go eat there people you won’t be...

When you call back up there then they can't seem to find your ticket or your receipt but they'll put your name down so that the next time you come in you can get a free meal. That doesn't happen either. And today when in their order four different entrees they still left one out even after I asked the guy if everything was there he said yes. So I have to drive 10 mi to my house to get everything out set up to find out that my mom's shrimp fajitas is missing. Call and they said oh yeah it got left out. Go back up there and it's like they don't care that they just wasted your time your gas of making a second trip there to get something that they forgot to put in the bag. They were wanting to give me her food that has been sitting on the counter for 20 minutes did not offer a refund for her food but I told them they need to remake it. This is the third time that this has happened to us at this restaurant I'm going to be very hesitant on...
