Jamba — Restaurant in Texas

I am so excited to post this review due to the fact that I’ve noticed several reviews that mention spotty customer service - therefore I love to report that my visit was EXCELLENT! I was cheerfully greeted the moment I walked in the door by a super friendly young woman behind the counter.

The store was very clean and organized perfectly. Displays were stocked and neatly arranged, the counters and tables were clean. She was soooooooo patient as I painstakingly agonized over what I wanted to order (I wanted everything 🤷🏻‍♀️) but I landed on the Açaí Primo bowl which was soooooooooo unbelievably good! I am embarrassed to admit I dug into it before remembering to take a photo of it, which is definitely one of my weaknesses that I need to work on - I see it and eat it. Which is sad because it was one of the most spectacular presentations I’ve seen to date on drive-thru-fast-food style setups like Jamba. So kudos for that! The fruit was beautiful and so fresh! Even the bananas (which we all know are a particularly finicky fruit to try and present after 3.2 seconds post-peel) and the blueberries were perfectly firm and sweet! Just enough honey and the açaí was amazing! Sooooooooo good!

I also ordered my go-to, all-time favorite smoothie - the Strawberry Surfrider. There’s just none better on a hot Texas “early fall but still 7th circle of Hell hot weather” kinda day.

Then I had the pleasure of chatting with the other young woman working there and she was an absolute joy as well! Chatty, smiling, friendly! Just amazing staff on duty...

I love Jamba Juice but this Jamba Juice too frequently doesn't have juice to sell me. I want to buy juice at Jamba Juice but I can't. I've tried on three different occasions.

When I called today to ask why I can't buy juice at Jamba Juice I was told the juice machine has been broken and when the juice machine IS working it is cleaned every four hours. That's great!! I like my juice to be clean and good for me but apparently each time the juice machine is cleaned it can't make deliciously juicy juice for an least an hour. I guess they REALLY clean it well!

Maybe I just have bad luck and only stop by there while the juice machine is being cleaned or maybe management can plan better? Maybe have two machines and only clean one at a time? What do I know? I don't work at or own a Jamba Juice. I just like to drink it but sadly I can't.

And...staff could be more friendly. And...they don't like to answer the phone. Kinda professional?...yes. Enough to earn my repeat business?...no

I come to this Jamba Juice almost every Friday with bemy toddler for “Smoothie Friday”; I order the same thing for myself White Gummy and one of the two flavored child smoothies that they have. Normally it’s almost always a pleasant experience but this Friday November 3rd around 8ish/830ish my white gummy was great as always but the child smoothie was really sour and not sweet at all,tasted as a horrible at home smoothie… my baby shouts this is sour shortly after pulling off so I go back in the line requesting for the other one because the one they made was sour and bitter and my child doesn’t like it, they so okay and I pull around… once I get to the front they request money which is fine if I wanted to repurchase another smoothie, i just wanted a edible smoothie. They persisted on saying how they can add some agave to the smoothie or blend some more fruit in (the same bitter fruit) to make it sweeter; first off NOT SANITARY!!!
