So I went to my job at 7:30am at advance auto parts on veterans and spears rd as a commercial account manager. I've been on my job 10yrs and in the retail business as a manager for over 30 plus years and I have never treated my customers in the manner that your manager Cynthia treated me. I was supposed to have gotten off work at 4:30 pm and had not had breakfast or lunch and was looking forward to dinner being provided by KFC. I pulled up and placed my order was told you don't have wedges anymore which was still on the sign I ask for mac & cheese and was told there was none they offered a new style fry that I said sure to, pulled up to the window and make light of not having my mac and cheese, was told at the order point it would be 20mins for my wings I ordered, I agreed and stated good it will be fresh. My card was swiped a 7:53pm was told to park off to the side and they will let me know when my order was ready. When I parked there was another vehicle sitting waiting already assumed it was a ride for a employee, then they parked 2 more vehicles so now there is 4 of waiting patiently for our orders. Time started flying by with several other vehicles getting there orders and driving off car after car truck after truck but still were all waiting. Finally it's 8:44pm and still no sign of my order or anyone else orders coming out. So I pulled back in line to request a refund. Now grant you I was highly upset and very famished at this point so I was a lil loud in requesting my refund, there was a young lady whom I would like to apologize to was informing me something to the effect of the grease being filtered and it was here fault when Cynthia stepped up and started yelling with me so things escalated and now I'm applaud at how when I requested my refund in cash she said she couldn't do that and I said you charged me 30.70 and want my money don't want to wait for that either she then stated "Why what's wrong is it not my card" basically calling me a thief which then I felt now this a racially motivated issue. She then ask my age and I told her 49yrs and she then stated I needed to grow up by time I just gave my card to get this whole ugly matter over with because I was holding up the line which was probably not going to move either. I told her to remember me and she then told me "DON'T EVER COME BACK". I FEEL DISCRIMINATE AGAINST BY CYNTHIA AND HER ACTIONS and can't KFC would allow this type treatment of their customers. I left and went to popeye's and purchased a 10 meal deal with them at the value of $23.80 they swiped my card at 8:56pm and I was driving off at 9:08pm. I will never give KFC any of my business and will be making sure all who know me will not patronize you business either, all thanks to Cynthia at highway 249...
Read moreRUDE, I had a problem with my order, I was given the wrong order in the drive thru, I can not go back immediately, I had to go back and start the line again, so when I get to the window they were waiting ready to blame me for giving me the wrong order. The "manager" (rude) was making faces at me, yelling at me, blaming me. At that point I just want my money back, I didn't want the order they gave me or what I had asked for, but since they didn't let me speak they gave me what I asked for and I had to keep the wrong order, and paid part of it, they think they gave the wrong order for free NO I have to pay some of the order that I don't want. When I got home and opened my box, I found three measly chicken strips averaging to only two to three inches in length. Half of one of the chicken strips was mostly batter, too.
