Well... how do i even start with this review... ive been coming to this McDonalds when i was a kid and not to lie was pretty decent until renovations and new management came... Thats when they started intsalling the brand new kiosk devices that make ordering easier...(trust me those things are a pain) i used to work here about 10 hours ago after i quit(not because of long work hours or pain ive felt on my legs and feet from moving around all day) because i was ignored and disrespected before, during and after my employment. Both managers cant take the time out of their own day to train their damn employees. Ive only worked here for 9 days and not been trained to do anything... only to stand at a kiosk device assisting customers and maybe sweeping or mopping. One of the funny parts was my supposed "trainer" (wont say name for privacy) was a fluent Spanish speaker and little English... tried to "teach me the ropes"(term for showing me how to work) anyways if he couldn't pronounce a certain thing to me which was like 95% of the time he would physically pull out a translator...(im being seriousXD) a translator and try to communicate that way which was an embarrassment to the company... 2 days before i left i had a breakdown in the middle of work when i felt that everything ive learned in orientation was basically a lie. Play room was never cleaned because when i started working there ive done inspections of the workplace, playroom and bathroom. Everyday when i walked into work same thing always a MESS... dont believe me next time you go over there take the welcome mat they have colored black and try to get the dust out of it. The look on your face when you see all that dirt left behind and uncleaned... believe me when i 1st did that for BOTH mats inside. It was enough dirt to fill up an ENTIRE childs cup which i just basically lost it. This company has no standards. They say that the customer comes 1st l... well i believe thats wrong because i believe that the standards come 1st... allow me to explain.. pretend we have a table with 3 legs.(1 standards,1 customers, 1 employees) now if one of those legs are removed then the entire table collapses therefore the company collapses... for those those 8 1/2 days ive worked in The company ive felt like a brand new and happier person.... until ive discovered the truth. (Very unsanitary, Lack in communication, Very Disrespectful, Lazy "Cell phone using" manager, Sad Excuse of a Pathetic trainer, Haven't been payed yet after 9 days so basically slave labor, No training, safety procedures not followed) so basically every rule written for McDonalds and health violation was broken... "felt like a slightly cleaner version of kitchen nightmares" And Kelvin if your reading this.... its been an honor working for you but ill see...
Read moreI've actually worked here from June 10th to August 11th this year. I've never worked with more funnier, caring , livelier, sometimes anoyying (yea I'm talking to you @jaden, @edgar, @Nick) people. Over all, everyone who workes here are extremely freindly and patient with each other and the lovely customers that come here. Employees try our best to give you your food as hot and as fast as possible, and I honestly feel very bad for the misfortunate people that come to the store when we are understaffed and are being overwhelmed with customers (this happens ALOT). We do care. Just sometimes you people are too much. But anyways lol, it helps when you customers are nice and patient with the crew. We ARE human at the end of the day, and half of the crew are still in highschool and college. As of currently only have 10 to 11 staff working per day, so to be able to serve hundreds of customers in hours on end should say something. Yes we may mess up orders, or the areas where customers hang might be dirty, but I promise that each and every one of us puts an effort into giving the customers the best experience they could have at our restaurant. Anyone who might consider working here should. In order to be hired all you have to do is smile and be serious about working. We need more people😂. And to you customers out there, when your food is running late, consider the possibility of what could have happened instead of being angry. Being hungry and angry at the same time isn't a good thing. When you take orders inside, take a glance at the computer screens inside the kitchen area and pay attention to how many orders are on those two screens (ones for the drive through and the other is for the lobby). Consider what the employee that is looking at those screens trying to get all of the food correctly is going through, THEN decide whether your food is 'taking too long' or not. Take a sec and put yourself in that employee's shoes. When you order in the drive through, and you get sent into the waiting area. Consider what the person behind you has ordered. There's a possibility that whatever you want is still cooking, and the person behind you,, hell even the person behind the person behind you just wanted a drink or icecream, or something else simple and fast to make. Nothing that happen to you is on purpose. Remember we are just like you. But yeah, cinco ranch always and forever. Working here has taught me how to work under great pressure and how to talk to people professionally and respectfully . Fries...

This is the McDonald's at the corner of S. Mason and Westheimer parkway, in Katy (Cinco) TX. Shares a parking lot with a Kroger.
I go to this store now and then in the morning, for breakfast. I order a standard order, nothing special, simple, single sandwich, medium drink.
More than fifty percent of the time the order that they give me is wrong. This is frustrating, especially in the mornings when you are on your way to work and just want something quick.
I have never reviewed a McDonald's before because, frankly, my expectations are quite low. Since my expectations are really low I did not think that a McDonald's could disappoint me.
I mean, as long as I don't see evidence of rats or roaches and their people are just following some basic food safety issues, I am fine with it.
That stopped this past weekend when as I watched, a worker with an open sore on his right arm, used his bare fingers to prepare my food and his manager corrected the order by using her bare fingers to remove some cheese from the fish sandwich.
What do you do with that? What do you do when a manager, whose job it is to see to the safety of the food you are being served is not only supervising someone who is not following health code, but then uses her bare hands to manipulate your food?
McDonald's owned Chipotle, though they divested themselves of that asset, but one would think that with all of the trouble and financial hits Chipotle has had as the v result before poor food safety, that they would have learned their lesson. Why hasn't McD's, as a brand, made food safety a religion yet?
If you are a franchise owner of a flagged Hotel like Marriott, and you can not maintain the brand's expectations of quality, they pull your flag. Meaning, you can no longer say that you are a Marriott..
Perhaps McDonald's should consider a similar approach.
Anyway, it was gross and not even close to the worst thing that has happened there. I highly doubt that this restaurant will be fixed anytime soon. Be safe and just skip it. It is probably healthier for you to cook for...
