PROBLEMS @ PEPPERONI'S AGAIN- SADLY IT APPEARS THEY JUST CAN'T SEEM TO MAKE UP THEIR MINDS, POLICIES OR ANYTHING ELSE. IF YOU DON'T HAVE A PROBLEM ORDERING FROM A PLACE THAT IS CONSTANTLY CHANGING DISCOUNTS, COUPONS, WHAT THEY DO AND DO NOT ALLOW, ETC... THEN THIS IS YOUR PLACE. BUT, IF YOU LIKE CONSISTENCY AND CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE... GO ELSEWHERE. Tonight I called to order a large cheese pizza for my son and I along with a free 8" small pepperoni pizza for my husband (by using the free pizza coupon Pepperoni's corporate office provided due to the previous problems we had). The coupon clearly states "May be used for delivery with additional $12 purchase". The large pizza along with the additional soft drink was over the $12 requirement but Jasmine refused to complete our order arguing that we would not be able to use the coupon. Therefore, we asked to speak to Daniel (who is the location manager) and were told he was out on delivery. We asked them to have him call us as soon as he returned and were told he would. However, after waiting 30 min. and not hearing from him we decided to call again. Again, we were told he was out on delivery. They said they talked to him and he told them he would call us as soon as he got back because he was on the way right then. Thirty more minutes went by and still no call. Again, we called and were told Daniel was still out on delivery. We told them that we had been waiting for over an hour to order from them and this was very wrong and absolutely ridiculous! We asked them to please just make our pizzas and bring them. They refused stating we had to talk to Daniel. We waited another 30 min. and called again. Same story. Daniel was out on delivery but we had to talk to him. We waited over an hour and a half for the manager to call us and finally ordered elsewhere. He never called. We told the staff we would would be calling someone else who actually cared about their customers and would not be ordering from them ever again. It's sad because the pizza is good and corporate truly seems to care but this locations service is horrible. Shame on you Daniel for not taking better care of a loyal customer who orders several x's /week from you!!!
UPDATE: After speaking to the manager and not really getting anywhere I decided to contact Pepperoni's Corporate Office to see if their requiring military to pick up in order to get a discount was valid and if so to encourage them to reconsider changing this. I spoke to a very nice and professional man by the name of Al Hayes who informed me that in fact this was not their policy and he would be working to resolve the issue. Since he will be correcting this with the Richmond location we will definitely be back. As I stated previously... the pizza is good... just . In fact, I think I may order one now. :)
ORIGINAL POST: Pepperoni's has good pizza. So, why 1 star? Due to ridiculous requirements for military . We are new to the area & decided to try their pizza about a week ago. We have ordered multiple times and many pizzas from them since. Some were delivered and some we picked up. The company (like many others today) offers a military discount. Earlier in the week we ordered a couple of pizza's (which met their minimum delivery requirement) and gladly paid their delivery charge and tipped the driver. We were told to just show my husband's military ID to the driver . However, tonight when we called to order two more large pizza's to be delivered we were told they would not give us the military discount unless we picked the pizza up. I asked why? explaining my husband is a disabled vet and the cold/rain hurt him which is why we needed it delivered. They refused stating "corporate policy requires it be picked up" . SAD!!! We like their pizza but they just lost our business. You would think the local manager would have over-ridden the policy in favor of doing what was right and in order to keep his new local and loyal customer. But apparently that is not the case. Until this policy is changed we won't be back and we order a ton of pizza...
Read moreI've been a lover of Pepperoni's Pizza for most of my life. I began my love for Pepperoni's while growing up in Sugarland and going to the Pepperoni's off hwy 6 often. I now am a resident of Rosenberg and eat at the Brazos Bend location once a week. Let me tell you THE DIFFERENCE between Pecan grove Pepperoni's and the Brazos Town Center location is MONUMENTAL. First off the hostess at the pecan Grove location was extremely rude and had a horrible attitude, customer service at this place is NON EXSISTENT. No greetings when we walked in the door and no one even told us thanks for stopping by as we left. What had me the most agitated was the hostess sorry attitude. We approached her multiple times to ask for ITEMS WE HAD ORDERED but hadn't received yet, and she responded to us incredibly rudely and acted as if we were a nuisance to her. Once we sat down and were waiting for our food we had ordered, she delivered us our salads with the lunch specials, she then quickly went to walk away. I stopped her and asked if we could please receive a small cup of ranch and the cheesecake we had ordered. She then responded with a rude eye roll and tone in her voice saying-"Okay guys is there ANYTHING else I can get for you?" The amount of attitude and annoyance in her voice was completely baffling to me. Hire better people who are truly there to do their job, ya know like taking orders and using I don't know a bit of common sense when speaking to customers. I will never be back to this location again. So...
Read moreAs a local resident of 25+ years I have watched Pepperonis open and have ordered from there ever since day one. Herbert is an amazing person who knows how to treat the customers. Always a joy when dealing with him. To say the least, I Like Pizza. Pepperoni’s is one of my family and I’s favorites. It is always spot on! Occasionally we add on wings and they are perfect every time as well. I also really enjoy that I can pick up the phone, place an order, and they deliver. This is 100% better than the silly robot system of that dashing door place most have become accustomed too. Nothing beats human to human service and this is something that sets Pecan Grove Pepperonis apart from the competition. We have ate inside in the past, but it has been many years. For no other reason than delivery or pickup works best for us. Again, Outstanding Pizza and Outstanding People! Thank you Pecan Grove Pepperoni🍕s for always taking care of us. Y’all...
