I used to be an avid visitor for my lunch breaks and it is very different than before. The staff was very friendly as usual so that's great. However the portions are much smaller than before. Okay inflation.... Then the ingredients are not the same as online there are a few good ones missing. Okay odd... Then I order my same dressing I usually order which is the green goddess. It's now neon/ mint green..... strange but okay. (it also tastes different and it's not good) The salad is so small I finish it in like a few bites and it's so blah. I also got the Buffalo Chicken Panini like I used to and it tastes super odd the ingredients just don't taste nearly as good as before. This place has always been on the pricier side for what you get but it was worth it to me but now not at all. I've attached a photo of my neon green goo for reference. It used to be great but now it's terrible.

There are aspects that I really want to like about this place. It's close to my home and I am really trying to eat healthier. But alas I just don't think I can make this my new place. First of all it is more expensive than the fast food salads around. Then the service is always just okay. They never seem to be glad you are there like you are putting them out and they would rather you had not entered. They are supposed to give you a roll with your salad but forget every time and so you have to ask. Now here is the final issue for me. The roll last night was inedible. It was the hardest roll I have ever been served. I thought that maybe if I broke it in half at least the center would be edible. Nope. It was hard as a rock all the say through. Also the croutons were a bit overcooked as well with a slightly bitter taste.

Friendly service. Was really looking forward to trying out this place but cannot give 5 stars. More expensive than the competition who allow you to add as many toppings as you like. Two salads put together by two different people. Supposedly the same size but the ingredient portion size on my spouse’s salad is what I would have hoped for. At least I have enough calories left for Baskin Robbins. Suggestion: mix up the salad in the bowls before adding to the “to go boxes”.

Disappointed with My Visit

I was excited to try this place, but unfortunately, I regret it. My experience was disappointing from start to finish. While building my salad, I was told they were out of several key ingredients—no tomatoes, ranch, or mixed cheese. When the server finally found a bottle of ranch, he had to shake it hard just to get some out.

When I went to get water, there was no ice available. The lettuce looked wilted, and I had to specifically ask the staff not to put any wilted leaves in my bowl. The temperature on the salad bar also seemed too low, as some of the cheese was visibly melting.

Overall, it felt like they were completely unprepared. I’m not sure if they’re new, but this was a bad experience, and I won’t be back. I felt like I cheated on Salata today, and I’ll be sticking with them in the future for...
