Arun Thai Kitchen — Restaurant in Thompsons

I had a wonderful dining experience at Arun Thai, and while the food was truly excellent, what made the evening exceptional was our waitress, Nory.

From the moment we arrived, Nory made us feel welcome with her warm and bubbly personality. She was not only attentive throughout our meal but also gave thoughtful recommendations for both the dishes and the tea selection—each of which turned out to be spot on.

What really stood out was how genuinely she seemed to enjoy her job. I even overheard her on a call with a customer, patiently answering questions and ensuring they felt taken care of. It’s rare to see that level of care and professionalism these days, and it made a big impression.

Arun Thai is lucky to have someone like Nory representing them. If you plan on visiting, definitely ask for her—she’ll make your dining experience even...

So glad more restaurants are coming into the neighborhood. Especially good restaurants.

I was shocked that there was another Thai restaurant that popped up as there is just another one less than a mile away.

However, this might be my favorite in the area.

We dined in on this particular occasion and it was packed at 7 pm on a Saturday night. They only have a few tables so once it’s at capacity the wait can be a bit long.

As far as food my favorite was the pad kee Mao super flavorful.

Next favorite was the tiger cry, the beef was seasoned well and cooked to a medium rare.

The pad Thai was solid here, the only let down was the crab fried rice. Had a good amount of crab but it was very bland.

Overall, I’ll be coming back for the pad kee Mao and trying out some other...

The food was honestly delicious. But the service was not. The sign outside showed they close at 8:45. (Odd timing, I realize on google maps it's says another time too but I'm going by what was written in the store). We were told twice to leave by the time it hit 8:55 pm. 10 minutes after their closing time. We had to rush to finish, with my 3 year old and my spouse. I've just never been to an eatery where they can't wait till the patrons finish eating and actually rush them out 10 minutes after their closing time.
