Silver Fox — Restaurant in Texas

I used to be a regular here but since I move to the opposite side of town I haven't been frequency in this place as much. Two really nice hole in the wall type of environment but you could always count on good bartenders and a well-maintained place. I wish I could say the same about my last message but that's not the case the place was extremely dirty and the entertainment specifically the shuffleboard table did not have the adequate accessories to enjoy it. Quite disappointing since I remember this place very vividly in my mind as a place that had quality top of mind and Staffing now it has become what other Dives tense of become before they dive deep...

Extremely slow service at the outdoor bar. We stood and waited to be served for more than 20 minutes. It was not excessively crowded or chaotic by any means, she just wasn't able to keep up. We put a $20 down as payment for 2 shots of well tequila, and she picked it up as if it wasn't enough, then put it back on the bar and told us not to worry about it, that drinks were on her. My partner was quite offended by the gesture, he felt that she was assuming he was unable to afford to pay whatever the total was based on his appearance or something. I think that he was probably being a bit overly sensitive, but it was a weird exchange...

Good natured crowd usually, friendly bartenders, outdoor patio for smokers with games to play. Also has some pool tables and darts for entertainment as well as live entertainment on the weekends usually. Above all the drinks are reasonably priced. Bexar County Sheriff's are beginning to stake out for dwi entrapment I've noticed them taking good a liking to the area since the reopening of the place and population growing out this way. Beware of the c* sckers looking to f**k up your life. BCSD and soon SAPD will be joining the repressive torment of the citizens. Drink responsibly and don't venture into the neighborhood...
