Southern Maid Donuts — Restaurant in Texas

The owner here at Southern Maid Donuts is very kind and genuinely wants you to have the best experience.

They have something called a Kronut, it’s half croissant half doughnut very interesting and also very great. She was telling me about some of their very popular items as this was one of them. It hit or miss she told me, either people love them or they say it’s not for them.

It’s very flaky and it’s sweet, but not too sweet. I thought it was great!

She even was kind enough to let me sample a donut hole Kronut first. She is genuinely concerned about making sure that each one of her customers has the best experience possible.

I have been going to southern maid for years at different location, moved to Cypress and was so excited about having familiar donuts near me that I knew were great however when I walked into this store the lady saw me and went to back without greeting then was the rudest person at a donut shop I've ever experienced. Definitely ruined the excitement of having amazing donuts near me. Maybe try a change in staff for customers, customers make or break your businesses... On top of customer service stinking the donuts were awful, very dry definitely not what I remember from other location. I wouldn't waste your time...

We first tried the donuts in this place last month, we’ve been coming here at least three times a week since. I think this place have the best donuts in the area. I really like their dough. The donuts still tastes good even after the next day. My wife and kids love it! We also like their bbq brisket Kolache and mini smoked beef sausage Kolache. The owners are super friendly. We talked to the owner, apparently they just took over this place several months ago. I would ignore the bad reviews because they are old reviews or before the new owners took over. I definitely...
