My wife and I have been dining at this local ramen and sushi restaurant on a weekly basis, and it has quickly become one of our favorite places in town. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable, with a staff that is always attentive, friendly, and genuinely appreciative of their guests. The consistency in both the service and the food keeps us coming back week after week, and we couldn’t recommend it more highly.

The highlight for us is unquestionably the ramen. The broth is rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care, offering that perfect balance of comfort and depth that keeps you savoring every spoonful. The noodles are always cooked just right, and the toppings add both texture and flavor without overpowering the dish. It is, without question, some of the best ramen we have ever had, and it easily competes with what you might expect to find in larger cities known for this cuisine.

I really can't say enough good things. Especially so close to where I live. Where do I start?

"'Aji' means 'taste' in Japanese." And boy, this spot has plenty of it.

Firstly, I was greeted immediately when I walked in, even so close to closing time. Admittedly, I came in close to 10pm, but the service was so accomodating to me. Yui was an absolute delight to be served by. Great smile, great atmosphere.

Second, the Chicken Skewer was grilled hot and fresh, you can taste the smokiness, and every bite was so juicy. I couldn't resist myself. I ended up ordering a Pork Belly and Ribeye Skewer to finish off the set, even after my Curry Ramen. It really did not disappoint one bit. Worth every penny. Especially the Ribeye Skewer. Grilled Medium. PERFECT.

Third, the Shrimp Tempura Curry Ramen flavor hit home hard. I grew up on Curries. Vietnamese, Thai, Japanese, Indian... I love my curry. As disheartened as I was after Go Go Curry Bellaire closed, I am pleased to find this curry incredibly similar, deep and rich in flavor, yet perfectly spiced and balanced.

Safe to say, I will be coming back soon. A stones throw away from the house....
