My friend and I went to this place last Friday evening to check out the karaoke show. Craig the karaoke jock did a great job. So did Lacey the bartender. I liked that it wasn't a huge crowd, and so I was able to sing 5 songs. Cheap beer. I guess they must do setups, because I noticed some people had styrofoam cups and bottles of liquor outside where they were doing the karaoke. Update September 2023: Still a pretty rad spot. Tammy the bartender taking better-than-excellent care of us at the bar. I noticed tonight that Craig the karaoke jock doesn't give priority to new singers. For once I didn't care --- this is a regular's bar and I get it. It doesn't hurt that the vibe has been positive EVERY time I've come in here. A very enthusiastic five stars! Update December 2023: Wow!! Absolutely amazing how rude this Jessica person is! I'll definitely avoid the place in the future if she's working. Unreal. I'm sorry, but y'all lose a star for Jessica......

Another fun time at TS with friends and a great band. Liz Talley and the Boys play every 2nd Wednesday of the month. They're great. They play a little OLD country, some country we grew up with, and some recent country. Besides their musical talent, they are funny as they banter between songs. This week, they had 2 friends sitting in. The group is always great, but the extras made it even more wonderful. During breaks, the band members talk with the audience, sons of whom have been fans and friends for years, if not decades. One group drove from Livingston! Because the band is just that good!!

Went there with my friend Mopar Mike Sinclair and his daughter Kasey to see his cousin "Sean Reefer and the Resin Valley Boys" sing and play. If you really want to have a Hank Williams type experience you should see these guys, Sean does a wonderful job playing the Hank Williams Sound along with some other country stuff. There is a large covered area about twice the size of a basketball court will the stage and places to sit and then there is a ice house with air conditioning and next door a place to get burgers in that type of thing. It was a fun place and good people and a good time was had by all I would recommend both the establishment...
