I came to get just mashed potatoes and gravy with the intentions to go to McDonald’s and get a 40 piece nugget the combo is very good! But on this occasion I was greeted by an open sign… I went to try to go inside because there was a very long line at the drive-through and I only needed potatoes. I got to the door and the door was locked… So I walked back to my car in order to get into an even longer line, I waited patiently noticed that the line was moving extremely slowly when I finally gave them my order at I moved up to the window and the person took my money gave me old mashed potatoes and old gravy that was crusty on the top, this gravy was very bad so I asked for a gravy that was not horrible and he gave me another similar Grady that had been setting out the entire time I told him this gravy is terrible it’s not edible, he told me that’s all I have and I said well I guess I’ll get a refund because that’s the only reason I am here… He gave me my refund without an apology for any chance of explanation..
This place was a complete waste of time.
If your churches and you’re reading this as the owner be aware they are not putting gravy in a sanitary environment and I am sure people are getting sick...
Read moreI typically don't review fast food chains as they are typically the same. This one practically begged me to. Let's begin with the shabby state of the parking lot that needs more than a few potholes filled. We opted for drive thru. The back of the building features the entire facia fallen down and left on the ground. This is complete with a rusted out rain gutter to keep you company with an ever so constant dripping from the ac system that apparently runs into it. Moving on to the "manager" Mario that is inexplicably working the drive thru. This gentleman needs a bit of gentle training on 1. Customer Service. 2. His own company's menu. For not the first time, we did not receive any dipping sauces as the menu states we should. Mario seemed incapable of handling more than one vehicle at a time. We waited as the vehicles in front of us waited to put in their order and drive around to find no one in line in front of them. Apparently, one order must be completed before taking the next one by Mario. We will not...
Read moreAs other reviews have noted: they will not only get your order wrong - or in my case, not provide it altogether - they will not refund. Church's corporate has been attempting to get ahold of them for over a month, because their store does not answer their phone. Despite it showing online and charging, they do not take online orders and will not take the order as proof of receipt, even if shown the receipt / order number.
Church's Customer Service has been great and indicated each of their actions (and inaction) has been inappropriate. This includes their failure to have an operating phone / failure to refund immediately / and their employees asking to visit multiple times at different times of the day for specific managers "Mario", only to be told by him that it's not possible.
Grateful that Church's has offered to fix the situation - but am concerned that it will be difficult since they themselves say they've had issues with the district / reaching out to the N. Penn...
