Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in The Villages

The service was absolutely terrible tonight. I understand that is the full moon night and that you guys are busy on full moon night. However, when I call and stay on the phone for nearly 20 minutes and then somebody answers only to hang up on me not once or twice but four times that I called it is just very unprofessional and terrible service. If you are too busy to answer the phone then don't answer it. Do not answer the phone just to leave it sitting on the counter for 5 plus minutes at a time while I shout hello into the phone. And no, this was not a fluke because it happened four times to me tonight. I am a loyal customer who orders from this establishment two to three times a month. To be honest I don't know when or if I will order from here again based off of tonight? I won't even mention that my pizza is over 30 minutes late from the pickup time and it still has not been picked up yet because it still is not ready and I can't get anybody to help me figure out when it will be ready. As an update, I finally just spoke with a manager on duty. She was extremely rude and had zero compassion for the way things were handled. Her excuse was it was extremely busy so they have to answer the phones in order to make them stop ringing. Which means they're okay with just picking the phone up and setting it on the counter to make it shut up while they are busy. She did not care that I was on the other line. Just listening to other people asking for their orders while I sat there for 10 minutes or more. This businesses insight on customer service tonight was a joke and I say that as a business owner myself, I am extremely disappointed and disgusted by the way that they handle things. In the future pick up the phone and say we are busy. May I put you on hold? Please not pick up the phone. Lay it on the counter and just ignore the person that's on the other line when you didn't even bother to say hello. You just picked the phone up and lay it...

Ordered a pizza and cheesy bread on 4 different occasions and they never got it right. The manager called me after I said I'd never come back, offering me a free pizza, which I refused. I gave them another chance and what happens, they charge me 8.00 more then I have ever paid. I told them, then give me the special, which included 2 medium pizza with one topping, cheesy bread and a 2 liter drink which is offered on the their website. They can't give it to me, but they could give it to me in an large order...what, come-on. They couldn't even get their price right, so I just got my order, which they took 2.00 off... amazing. I'm glad I used my card to pay otherwise they wouldn't have been to count the change back to me. Sorry, this was the last time I would go back to the Lady Lake Marcos. Papa John, I'm back. Only thing me and my wife ate the same all day and shortly after eating we both had very sick stomachs. It's now 6:30am the next morning and I'm still trying to get rid of the pain and water sick stomach this place gave me and my wife. That being said this pizza has cheap ingredients. Someone said they're better then dominos and as much as I can't stand dominos I have to disagree. I have no idea what bad taste people gave this place 5 stars but obviously they hail from a people that don't eat much pizza in their life or many options. My guess is they've eaten frozen pizza they're entire life. Nobody from NY or Chicago could even finish eating this pizza. This was not a 4 star experience never the less a 5 star.
