I have been wanting to stop by this place for quite some time and seeing as it had a high rating I was excited. However the food was disappointing. I got a chicken shish kebab plate , it came with rice and vegetables for $20 . The portions of the food were good size portions was it $20 worth , no . This plate could have easily passed for $10-$15 dollars the most .

The flavor of the food was okay. I was very disappointed in the flavor of the food . Rice was spot on and good. The chicken was moist but had an awful taste . It had a chard fish taste and I was taken back by it. I was expecting to have those nice bold mediterranean flavors and did not . The vegetables tasted like they were the frozen vegetables.

Overall for the chicken plate was a 2 . The price was too high and the flavor was off. Only giving a 2 because the rice was the only thing good about that meal.

I also order a cheese pide. The portion of the cheese pide was a nice portion but for almost $20 I could have gotten a regular size pizza else wheres . The flavor of the pide was okay . Cheese was okay but for some reason it also had a fishy taste almost like a sea food taste. Im not sure why but that was the only disappointing thing about this .

I also orders a Kanafa. By far the most disappointing kanafa I have ever had in my life. The portion size of the kanafa for almost $15 was not good either . It was small and other place you can pay $7 for a bigger portion.

The flavor of the kanafa was very sweet . They sweetened it a bit to much. I have never had a hard kanafa before and this one was hard/ tough. So hard/ tough my utensils given broke . The cheese that it comes with , barely had any cheese . It was horrible and upsetting.

Overall rating of the place is a 2 The food and price point is bad . The service and atmosphere is very good warm...

Loqum was an accidental discovery and what a pleasant surprise. We drew down to Houston for a sport event in The Woodlands and were looking for a quiet place for lunch. Loqum popped up and we are always up for some fine Turkish food in a new place. The folks were kind to hold our reservation even though we were half hour late. The ambience is reflective of the blue and white theme that is Mediterranean but there are Turkish elements like the hand painted water jugs. We tried the Shakshuka, and the Cigara Borek and both were excellent. The Cigara borek was crunchy and just the right amount of peynir / cheese on the inside. For the entrees we picked Lahmacun, and the Mixed grill. We can attest that the Lahmacun was delicious and the meats were juicy and tender. Tea was complimentary and if we had more time we’d have tried a dessert too. The icing on the cake - great quality and a good price and quiet efficient service. The music in the background were soft instrumental renditions of popular pop and Turkish classics. Maybe they could be more upbeat to get a bit more fun vibe. We would definitely make another visit when we visit the...

I've been wanting to check out this restaurant for a while, and I finally made it. Upon arriving, I was impressed with the inviting and cozy ambiance. The decor had a warm and welcoming vibe, creating a pleasant setting for a meal.

The menu focused on traditional Turkish cuisine, which was great, but I found that the descriptions of the dishes were a bit sparse. Since I've traveled to Turkey a few times, I had some idea of what to expect, but if you haven't experienced Turkish food before, you might find the menu a little confusing.

As for the food itself, it was decent. It wasn't exceptional, but it wasn't bad either. However, I did feel that the prices were quite steep for what was served. I ordered the Iskender, which is essentially sliced meat with sauce, but it didn't quite justify the cost.

Overall, while the atmosphere was enjoyable, the food was just okay, and the pricing seemed a bit high for the quality. If you're looking for a cozy spot to try some Turkish dishes, this place could be worth a visit, but be prepared for a higher bill than you...

Delicious Turkey food with big choice of options. Courteous service. Friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend that ply for Mediterranean food lovers.
