When I walked in, I waited one to two minutes for them to notice me. They didn’t have hot tea and it was 50 degrees outside, pretty sure 60 degrees inside. She said they charge $.50 per pump of flavoring and $.50 without ice. My total was $6.50 about. So I got a 20 ounce cup with only 16 ounces of tea in it, no ice and one pump of raspberry for about 5$. The green tea was weak. When I shared about charging extra for no ice and ask the manager to just share it with corporate. She recommended that I post reviews on Google and yelp online. I just asked her to share my feedback with her managers, but in her ultimate wisdom what she didn’t know is that when you review online it hurts all of the cafés not just her particular location Her response although was nice about it I didn’t feel was professional from a business. Luck, I understand times are hard for small businesses, but Nicole and diming people for no ice is ridiculous and appears greedy. I won’t be going back to any of these locations. Especially when I can get the same thing at Salad to Go, Tea N Energy and any other...
Read moreYou guys should do an evaluation of sales in a few months and see if it was a smart move to take away happy hour.
I (sadly) spent a ridiculous amount of money here between January and July (Over $250), but I’ll spend maybe $50 at most for the remainder of the year and from here on out because now the drinks are not affordable.
I thought it was such a smart business model to have happy hour here, right by a college and a high school. You create a lot of “regulars” that will come consistently, and they don’t have huge expenses yet so they can spend their money on dumb things like coffee. But students still aren’t exactly known to be rolling in the dough…. Happy hour was really the only thing bringing customers here instead of Starbucks and Dutch Bros. They’re both cheaper than Black Rock. There’s even a Starbucks on the Lone Star campus.
Just something to consider. But it really is for the best for the sake of my wallet! Blessing in disguise lol I may be wrong and you make more money with less effort and less product used! But you should check and see in...
Read moreEdited to respond to the business: I have eaten blueberry muffins and scones and am fully aware how they looked baked. The spots I saw were not blueberry specks! They were MOLD specks! The response has shirked responsibility and implies that it was my error! Shame!
I WAS GIVEN 2 MOLD INFESTED scones! Here’s what happened: I ordered 2 gluten free scones yesterday 3/12. I ate one last night and realized it tasted funny but didn’t think anything more of it. After a while I began to feel nauseous but I eventually recovered. I wasn’t sure if it was the scone or something else I ate. Today I bit into the second scone and it had a weird taste. I cut into it and I see BLACk MOLD SPOTS INSIDE the scone!!! TOTALLY DISGUSTED!! VILE! It is obvious the baked goods are not being stored properly or they are allowing expired food to be sold! Shameful! What else is being served that is not up to code? Trust completely broken! I will never order from here again and I will discourage my friends from visiting this...
