Dr. Michael Y. Chang, DO — Local services in The Woodlands

I've been sitting reading reviews about dr. Chang. I will agree that he is a very good knowledgeable doctor. The last few times I've gone to see him was in 2017 apparently. He rushed me out of the office very quickly as if to give me the impression he did not have time for me. When trying to get an appointment with him it was difficult to get an appointment with him surrounding my particular schedule. I have never had a problem with him diagnosing a problem and getting it right to keep me going. He is a lot like the previous doctor that I had who has since retired. I will give dr. Chang all the credit needed for his knowledge and ability. But due to the fact that I could not schedule an appointment with him and the fact that he rushed me through the last few times that I went to see him. I find it hard to see all these good reviews of how much time he takes with his patients. Maybe I am the exception to the rule. But I'm sure there are some like me that feels the same but will not speak up so I will speak up. I recently called his office and could not get anyone on the phone as of today. One of my doctors needed some medical records and they were told apparently they couldn't get them. It's a possibility that I will try to see Doctor Chang in the future but it will be hard for me to see him once again because of the issues I have previously stated. I am currently searching out another doctor. I know the review that I'm just giving is sounding harsh but there are those few people that have the same issues that I have....

I chose this Dr because of the 4.8 star review while searching for a family Dr. It turned out I made the wrong choice. I have been trying to call all this week, left so many voicemails, through the scheduling line referral and the nurse with no replies or calling back. I had bad rash on my face and under my eyes towhere I was feeling the itch on my eyelids as well, I had a swallen face and eye and still no one cared to rush or send a referral to my dermatologist. I had to treat myself for the past week with antihistamine, since I have been waiting for over two weeks now. Note, this allergy issue started first week of January, visited Dr Wang January 5th and since then I have not been able to get a referral sent or the issue...

I am writing as a first time patient. I had an injury occur on a Thursday night and called Dr. Chang’s office Friday morning. I was taking a chance as a first timer trying to get in a Friday. Could not have asked for a better experience! He and his team took care of me like family! My injury required a MRI and he had it ordered to be done stat. When the first place he sent me to couldn’t get me in, his team found another facility to get me in. After the MRI was complete I had my results within half an hour. Dr. Chang spent another half hour or so on the phone with me going over the next steps and my results. I will be keeping him as my doctor for any future needs or concerns. Thank you so...
