Big Buba's Philly Steak & Lemonade — Restaurant in Thornton Township

Do not eat here!!! They simply do not respect our people!! Customer service is horrible… I called my order in and when I arrived my order was not ready! Not only was it not ready but he never took the order down. So I went ahead and reordered in person. He was sure to tell me that extra meat and cheese would cost extra (NO PROBLEM) … now I picked up my order at the window and the guy is rushing me not allowing me to check my order. I told him I paid for extra cheese on my fries so I should have extra cheese. Even after showing my receipt he put one drizzle of cheese on my fries.

Fast forward I get home only to realize that my order was wrong. I took photos and called the location. Originally the manager sound concerned but then stated send photos and hung up the phone. I sent the photos to the phone and continued to call the location for an update all for him to say that the number could not get photos. He continued to hang up and when he finally answered told me he would remake the order if I could make there before they closed.

It was 10:25 and they closed at 10:45

None the less I made it back in time just for him to make excuses. He proceeded to take everyone else’s order instead of correcting my order. It was so horrible that other customers had to inquire about his customers service. He asked what was wrong with the food and I Simply showed him that it was not my order. He proceeded to make excuses on how I need to wait and how I should have just been satisfied with what they gave me.

We are paying customers.. we have the right to receive the services and food that we pay for. We need to boycott businesses like these that move into our communities and flourish off of us when they don’t even respect us.

I will never eat here again!!

They don’t deserve another dime from anyone until they can provide better service and respect for our people.

Also they are well overdue for a health inspection. There is noooo way this establishment passed a health inspection. That call will be placed first thing in the morning and I will also inquire about the business licenses hanging up that don’t...

This place is sooooo close to being perfect if only they delivered best restaurant I've been too they have a open see threw viewing of your food and they make sure it's made how you like it they need too start a chain of these in my opinion honestly 5 stars all around the boarders... Only if they would deliver and start a chain of these they'd be the only place I'd go spend my money on food great variety of choices most meals comes with a drink the French fries are always great but if you go you have to try the sweet steak please try the sweet steak!!! Beyond 5 stars 10/10 hands down nobody's beating their sweet steak and the prices are a bit pricey but the food is worth every penny I endorse and support this place for free it's a must a have to go to spot right of sibly across from Wendy's and Walgreens in that strip mall by Dolton Bowl perfect for date go bowling then stop here at Big Bubas for food you'd thank me later...

I place an order for a double Turkey burger with everything and mushrooms. It’s been a while since I have dined here but I never forgot that they hand packed their burger fresh, Always. I ordered my food and walked out to my car to wait, I walked back in and my order was being packed to go. I finally get home begin to eat it. The first couple of bites were ok. By the third bite it starts to get really chewy, almost as if the meat isn’t real or gamey. After the 4th/5th bite I ended up throwing the sandwich out because the texture was off and it felt like a frozen patty that was possibly freezer burned and cooked. Every bite I was spitting out chewy meat, not even gristle. It was disgusting to say the least. If I went back I’d ask before ordering a turkey burger if it is handmade and if not I’d order something else. I also asked for the fries to be crispy and as always they come out flash...
