Champions II BBQ — Restaurant in Thornton Township

This restaurant is not even worth 1 star. The owners & workers have a very nasty attitude. I told the cashier exactly what I wanted. Hot fries, lean cut ribs, & very light sauce. My order was totally the opposite. Cold burnt fries, huge chunk of meat (which I was willing to overlook) & he poured gallon of sauce on my food , I mean it was literally drenched & leaking everywhere. I immediately returned back to the restaurant. He asked what was wrong, I was only able to say cold fries & he got upset, snatched the food from the counter threw it in the garbage , & ran to the back. Not one time did he allow me to throughly explain the above issues. So as a result he made those same mistakes minus the fries. He came back w/a 2nd order with the same mistakes because he did not listen the 1st & 2nd time. He repeated the same mistakes & w/a nasty attitude. His nasty attitude garnered the customers' attention. Customers looked at him like he was crazy & turned around and told me I wouldn't he that food if I was you. I spoke with owners old & ignorant. They thought it was okay for their worker to act like he's a fortunate teller & can read customers' mind & know what we want w/o listening. Update to my last review. After I posted my experience. My visit had me so disturbed, that I had to call again. However this time when I called he told me to come in he will replace it. After I had arrived he apologies to me for the inconvenience. He then replaced a few items in my order. As I was leaving I explained to him that I was going to update my post. He then replied" I know you posted I got a call from the Boss." I smiled. So thank you Boss in charge! I love great response time with great customer service. You are outstanding and I just want to say thank you for taking pride in your business. Have a blessed day!

I paid $108 dollars for my visit to this place and it was not worth it. They do not fill the cup for there 8oz Mac and Cheese. When I open my container it was half way and they told me that's how they come. Keep in mind I paid $5.99 for this 8oz Mac, that was not that good. For them to turn around and half way fill my cup. Then it didn't stop there. They also gave me 2 half of container of ribs. That I paid $23.99 each for. Then on top of that I order Jerk and they put barbeque sauce on my Jerk ribs. If I could I would give them a zero for POOR customer service. I placed an order for 6 wings fried hard and this was not what I received. Not only did I nor receive what I paid for the order was a wing short. I called back and was told there was no one in management but the person that answered the phone would leave a message for someone to call me back the next day. Well no one called me so I called back. When they answer the phone no one gives you their name. So I spoke with a young lady and told her what had happened shed apologized and told me that I could come in and get the one wing I was short. I said excuse me she said that she could not give me another 6 wings she could only replace the one wing that was missing. I told her my order was not prepared properly to begin with. She said there was nothing else that she could do and told me to have a good day and hung up. This is not how you treat a paying customer.
