Dairy Queen Restaurant — Restaurant in Thornton Township

I went here today the girls working are so rude!!!! Yall need to re-think yall customer service team!!! How is that you place an order they don’t give you a receipt make the order wrong then tell a customer they have to pay again for another order. I lived in Lansing for 18years and have never had an issue until today… I never get a receipt the order is never repeated back but I’ve never in the past had an issue! I don’t know what kind of customer service training your team has received but the so called manger on duty Sunday 6/23/24 at 7:30 in the evening was rude and unprofessional. If a customer points out an error why not take the correct actions to correct it!!!!! How is that you make my order wrong then tell me I have to pay again for another order!!!!!! I can’t believe this happened…. The entire team on duty was rude!! I get it ice cream only cost $5-6 but a mistake is a mistake you got people taking in the background cars driving down the street how you gone tell me what I ordered if you keyed the order in wrong! It wasn’t really that deep all I asked was for them to fix my ice cream and all the smart back and forth was unnecessary telling me to get in line and pay again like are...

I just want to say that the so-called managers at this dairy Queen location needs to be ashamed of themselves. My daughter bought ice cream and the toppings were not to her liking. We went back to the location asked for a different flavor, and they refused. Keep in mind I did not ask for a refund I only asked for a remake of a new flavor. Both managers at least that's what they claim to be trying to enforce the no exchange no remake policy however they had no such policy posted. This may not stop you are from patronizing this location, but I will never ever spend a penny at this location again. The workers have nasty attitudes, very unprofessional and mean girl like. Do yourself a favor and go to the grocery store and buy yourself some ice cream or shop at another ice...

I've never been to a Dairy Queen Restaurant before taking my young son on that particular day. I used to watch they're commercials while growing up in the 70's and the 80's always was curious but never went. Well anyway my wife suggested that I take our son and when he found out where we were going he got very excited which of course brought a smile to my face. Anyway we got there his eyes lit up when he got his order. He was very happy so much so that I allowed him to devour his ice cream in my car. He's the only person that I allow to eat in there. Ice cream no less so yes I'll be taking him back whenever he wants to go and I'll eat a cone right along wirh him. Great place to take the kid's not to mention the variety of products they sell...
