Subway — Restaurant in Thornton Township

I'm trying to give a fair review. The young ladies working today 9/14 at 1pm are wonderful because customers been trying them the whole while I been in the store. This review is for the management. I walked here for miles in 90 degree weather because my car broke down. Ordered a tuna sandwich and thought I could sit down and refresh myself I asked if I could have a courtesy cup of ice water. The answer was NO! I asked if I could pay for a cup, yes the full price of a pop!!! I won't patronize this place I'll find another SUBWAY. I purchased a sandwich at least they could have given me some water. I paid for the cup to have some water ( i dont drink soda) because I was so hot I felt like I was going to faint. This place just gets worse and worse every time I go. When it came under new ownership. I was initially impressed, but now with the new staff the service absolutely sucks! Today I went in to get 2 sandwiches. The young lady was polite. You could tell she was new. The artist to the left of her was impatient and rushing. She repeatedly kept reaching over the person helping me. I watched her shirt touch my sandwich not once but twice!!! Each time she did it she’d stop and look at me to see if I noticed. When I brought it to her attention she just ignored me and kept helping the person behind me. So I asked for my sandwich to be remade and she ignored me. So I said “forget it”. First of all, the staff at this particular location need a raise, Because they actually understand customer service. I went to Subway and had no clue what I wanted to eat, And yet the staff was patient with me did not rush me can allow me to customize my sandwich. The way I wanted to.
