The drive through staff were not very pleasant. Seemed angry when greeting through the speaker. Got even more rude when I asked to please place two seperate orders because the inside is closed. One was cash and one was card. I did not see an issue with that but they did. They did not want to combine the order and do partial on card partial with cash either. They told me drive around again if I wanted two seperate orders. This was my first time ever eating at checkers. My son loves cheeseburgers, but wouldn't eat his. I tasted it and it tasted funky...like bad meat or something. The cheesecake shake thing was weird. Like the ice cream was freezeerburnt then processed into a shake. The best tasting item I got was the french fries and after this, tbh I would rather just buy the frozen Checkers Brand fries from the grocery store. After going through the drive thru twice and receiving bad food with bad attitude I shouldn't have even bothered. I'm not even a snooty person who only buys take out food. I cook at home and eat out every 2 months at most sometimes every 3 months. This was my treat to my family and it just wasn't worth it at all. Sad because driving by checkers always smells good but it's really not. Sorry for the low rating, I understand covid is tough and people don't want to be out working in this. But in my years of working food service and retail, I had a stronger mind than these people. I didn't let things bother me like they did. I never acted out of passive aggression. And it's just sad that some people are so jaded by the public that they feel the need to flex their power because I need food and they have it--that I would have to drive around twice just to feed my family and waste time. No smile, no happiness, or care when he delivered the order to the vehicle. For he actually turn his head away from the customer and handed the bag off while droppingit in my sister'slapp. . It's really sad when we are in the profession of being a customer service worker and have to carry such an atrocious attitude. The order was not correct. Read moreWaited in the drive through for 1 whole hour with only 2 cars in front of me only ordered 2 slushies, 2 chicken sandwiches with cheese & some hot wings after the hour we finally get to the window. I use Apple Pay so I can tap to pay the worker takes my phone to tap she then looks confused calling other workers the drive through window door closed with her still having my phone for 5 full minutes she proceeded to try to tap & tell me I need to reactivate it again so she can tap it so my order can be paid. After the payment goes through they asked us to wait by the door for them the bring the food & drinks out took them an additional 25 mins to do that this is BEYOND the SLOWEST RESTAURANT I’ve ever experienced in my life restaurant like this will not last long based on the quality and the experience the slushies was disgusting I had to throw mine in the trash I WIL NEVER EVER GO BACK TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN MARK MY WORDS.
