Our first time ordering take out and WOW what a Fantastic meal! SO looking forward to our next visit. 45 years of eating Asian cuisine occasionally, and this place is worth the visit for their EGG ROLLS alone. The best Egg Roll I have ever eaten and I am a total Foodie. Huge plump full of filling. There is tiny bits of pork with just the right amount of umami sauce mixed with the finely cut cabbage, season perfectly. Nothing overpowering flavor wise, which makes experiencing the wrap and filling that much nicer. We had two orders of Egg Rolls ordered. This morning one of the 4 egg rolls was was left, which literally with one fried egg on the side, filled me up for Breakfast. One order of Egg Rolls (2 total) and maybe stealing two crab wontons from the bag of wontons is a whole meal for someone, they are that big and yummy. I think they should call them Egg Roll Bombs they are shaped like a roll. Mine were the size of a Pool Ball! My husband enjoyed the Shrimp LoMein and crab wontons. Especially the Lomein for the thicker udon sized noodles and cuts of veggies with the Shrimp which was perfectly cleaned. The wontons were above average size and crispy. I had the Happy Family, and upon request I was able to ask for it to be gravied in the White Sauce rather than the Plum sauce, to avoid the sugar. Cost wise, worth every penny! Their togo containers contained the leakage, and our food was ready quickly. Thank goodness we have a new place after losing our favorite spot during Covid.

More like 4.5 stars than 5, but I feel their average is low. For historical reasons, Denver isn't really known for its Chinese food, and if you've ever lived anywhere else you probably miss Chinese food quite a bit. The food here certainly fits the bill in many ways and my review reflects that. Their fried rice has flavor, their hot and sour soup has a wonderful sour flavor, and their pork egg rolls are really unique. I also love that they make the distinction between spring rolls and egg rolls. They are not the same thing, and many of the reviews are actually speaking about the spring rolls. These eggs rolls are large, filled with cabbage, have the bubbly fried wrapping, and tend to be of the type that people want when they moved here from the east coast. The sesame chicken here is the puffy breaded variety, and it's very well done. The garlic chicken is very similar to a katsu, and I would recommend getting the double sauce option. Bottom line is, that this place is 25 minutes from my house and I'd drive twice that distance just to have the egg rolls and hot and source soup again.

Zero stars really. Spent $12.78 for an order I didn't receive and was given the complete opposite. I Ordered a LO mein noodles with chicken and another side. Sad to say, I got rice that was covered in soy sauce and a questionable meat/chicken that has no flavor, honestly thought it was someone's pet cat...... to be honest I had no idea what it was..... (If you want real good Chinese food. Go to the spot of 92 and federal, pink building next to McDonald's). Avoid LOTUS KITCHEN!!!! 0/5 very disappointed. My wife ordered it for me and brought it to my job and I was very very disappointed. Disgrace to your whole family lotus chicken. The meat/ chicken or what ever the hell it was was wet and soggy🤦 Worst Chinese spot every!

I absolutely 100% love this place!! My family first discovered this place the day I was born in March of 89 and for 33 years strong we've been coming here I've moved all over Colorado from Colorado springs all the way to even a few months out of Colorado and I've always gone out of my way to come and eat here!!! it will forever be a genuine place in our heart and they have always recognized our family over the years even when it was passed down to their son and so on!!!! Over the years has always been decently priced, very fresh when that was not really a thing you would find in a place like this and anyone I have ever taken here has always been satisfied as many know there could be a lot of different opinions on what Chinese food should be like and this is one place that has always been able to please all the different expectations. It may not be the absolute best of the best of the best but in my opinion it is because they are able to do well in all areas from customer service to cost to efficiency to taste and more and how often do you find a place like that!!!! I certainly love feeling that I'm supporting local and knowing that these people have been here so long and have never put money before quality. Granted there are some places that would be nicer to dine in at however when it comes to take out Chinese and bringing it home this place rocks!!!! And that is all the changes food places I've ever even nobody compares to the egg rolls that they have nobody ever!!!!! Thank you guys to your many years of service to Colorado and you're consistency over many years and I hope to have you guys forever...
