Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Thousand Oaks

They were SO rude. I was the 1st car in the drive through. I ordered, checked the screen, and when I verified it was correct, went to the window to pay. They asked me to pull forward to the parking lot, and they'd bring me my food. 🙄 That's so annoying. Whatever happened to 1st come, 1st served?! After over 10 minutes, my food was brought out. Like in 7 different bags. I began to check, and noticed that some of the food was wrong, I grabbed that food, and went in to the counter. No one approached me until the cashier was done taking an order, although a manager watched me walk up. I pointed out the food that was wrong, and they went to fix it. I went back out to my car and began checking numerous other bags. I found 2 more items that were wrong. I grabbed a bag, and went back into the restaurant. Again, they ignored my approach. I realized I'd left another item that was wrong in my car, so I verbally said, "I have to go get the kids cheeseburger that's wrong. It's a plain kids cheeseburger." I went to retrieve the bag. Apparently they didn't take my word for it, because they didn't start making the new kids burger until I brought in the messed up one. They were rude. I mentioned that all my other food was getting cold, but they didn't care. They didn't so much offer an apology. I got home and realized they'd forgotten 1 of the kids beverages. All of our fries were cold, and gross. I noticed they didn't give a receipt, so I couldn't even do an online survey, and have the information from my receipt to provide. Needless to say, we won't be back. I don't know what's so difficult with the word PLAIN, but they don't understand that word. A plain cheeseburger to them means lettuce, tomatoes, ketchup, and whatever else they put on. Plain to my family means meat, cheese, and a bun. So, if you like PLAIN, make sure you check your items before you leave. Many friends have had the same experience at this location. It's not convenient to access, and the employees are rude. That's probably why they have "now...

I posted a review here before stating 3 stars, but recently I have had to move it down one due to an event that left me perturbed. I come here often and it is quite a solid mediocre fast food outlet where you can get the exclusive two taco deal. I headed here feeling like it was a safe bet, but sadly I was mistaken. I went to order the two tacos and drink which is my usual, I got my drink and headed to my seat. A few seconds later I get my number called thinking that it was quite quick and was happy, but that quickly changed when I bit into the taco it was extremely hard and felt like it had been under the heat lamp for way too long. To top it off when I went to refill my drink I saw a stringy substance bouncing out of the spout, I take a napkin pull it out and what I saw could only be known as a mold. I was concerned and told a team member who took the napkin looked at it went and wiped down the machine and resumed work all within a few minutes. I was somewhat appalled and have been left with the decision that I have quit drinking soda. Doubt I will be coming here in future sadly, I enjoyed the convenience of this location, but can not continue being a customer. I would recommend going to the Newbury Park...

A friend and I decided to stop by Jack and the Box📦. I suggested that we could eat,chat and relax instead of waiting for the long line at the drive thru. When we parked, stepped in there where three tables occupied with customers. This location has been here since 2018... since I would stop in for an order. I ordered curly fries and Jalapeno Popper's and he two breakfast sandwiches. After he paid..I needed to make a trip to the restroom 🚽💦. The doors are locked and when I stepped in first. What a smell...😂😂. The manager should keep the public toilets clean,, after washing my hands. I went to sit down at the table and stools. My friend grabbed our order from the cashier and we preceded to eat away. The fries were delicious and not over cooked. The Jalapeno Popper's we're slightly cold. Not hot to the touch..
