Well I have been eating at El Polo Loco since I lived in Hollywood California. My favorite location is on Vine Street. I was invited to dinner on April 1st 2024 by a new friend that I had met . I've dined pretty much at many of the eateries in the Moorpark road vacinity . This location is situated on the strip by the Janns Mall. Surrounded by a Tobacco shop , a Car wash ✨,,etc. . Parking is on the side entrance and the back lot. When we arrived it was near 8:30pm .. My friend she ordered Chicken plate, veggies and tortilla . The sauces are put into little plastic containers. The location in Hollywood California has a sauce bar . Talk about economizing,,🔹. I order a meal that consisted off a burrito and chips. The only problem was.. I didn't order that ."!! Our meal's came with a drink from the fountain,,but the attendant screwed it up. Due to wearing a cordless"Driver thru" microphone"?? She was distracted and didn't give me what I desired... My friend who paid ..had to go up to the counter and ask for a replacement of what I asked for . Seeing that it was getting late,,I was given a free paper dish of macaroni. I didn't need a replacement meal. They were really busy in the kitchen,, handling so many drive thru orders. This location is pretty nice size,,the employees mostly speak Spanish "?? No English with kitchen staff.. except for the cashier's. Maybe some of these people weren't born in the USA "?? The chicken was dry ,,that my friend eat on . I think it's important to not serve dried out chicken to customer's. I haven't eaten chicken since 2010. It's suppose to be juicy ..and not burned out .. Would I come back here"?? No. The employees are under 25 years of age and if this is a franchise "?? The owner should do better.. The cashier was nice enough to give me a free macaroni..but the employees still need to work on their skills as kitchen staff. The past 4 times I've gone have been completely unsatisfied from the attitude I'd get at the drive thru, to the burnt Fam. Meal Deal ( which I noticed after I was already home so I had to go back) then the last Pollo Chicken salad Bowl, & Big Order of Pollo Nachos, there wasn't any cheese at all, They were Dry Tortilla chips with a sm. Tsp of sour cream (I'm not exagerrating) some cut up tomatoes that looked similar to the side of Pico de Gallo small amt. NO CHEESE?? Not underneath, Not on the side, Nada! Very disappointed in this Pollo Loco. I rarely visit anymore becuz it's Always something or other. I used to be there 2 times a week when everything they had & did was exceptional. Customer service, & if they messed up anything they'd give you something to replace it plus let you keep what you complained about. I remember the Management was Spot On Everything, Kept me happy, & returning regularly. Maybe customer service isn't as important to management anymore but I believe you keep loyal customers coming back eager to spend their money on your establishment and you're set for life. Read moreHaven't been to this location for over 3 months for a reason. You definitely don't come to El Pollo Loco for the customer service. Main reason I stop coming to this location is the terrible service. Today will be my last most definitely. I already deleted my El Pollo Loco app. Between the potholes at the front entrance, and the terrible drive thru speaker box. The only words the employee interacted with me was the price and if I wanted salsa. If you want dirty looks and terrible attitude with your food, come to this specific location. Between Angry Chick's, Zankou Chicken, Chick Fil A, Wing Stop, why even bother coming here. I'm sure management will respond with a generic response about sorry for your terrible experience.
