McDonald's — Restaurant in Thousand Oaks

Being honest, I try to avoid feeding junk (sulfates and preservatives) to my kids. Sometimes, there's no alternative. This morning, I ordered 3x McMuffin sandwiches toasted well (because they always appears warmed there and not toasted like every picture plastered throughout the establishment). After struggling with a very difficult accent at the drive-up window, I pulled forward, paid for the order, and was handed my change as she slid the window closed without a word. Pulled forward to the second window where I was asked to park and wait even though there was not a single car ahead of me. In a rush to get my kid to school, I asked why the wait? I was told because I ordered it "well done". After waiting several minutes, I got out of the car and walked in all to find the order sitting in a drawer! I expressed my frustration with the (person in charge) and how it could have simply been toasted 10-20 seconds more and there began the argument. If that's not enough, I opened 1 of the 3x sandwiches in her presence all to find the bread BARELY TOASTED! I tossed the sandwich back into the bag, asked for the refund as she became aggressive. I am sure this is on film and look forward to their explanation. My kid went to school hungry this morning. I tried to get complaint info from the (person in charge), she stated "just call the number on the receipt". Well, I have done so three times this morning and not heard back from Ms. Steph...

The drive thru is becoming a huge problem at this McDonalds. Traffic on the street is often backed up because people are waiting in line for the drive thru when there is no way to turn around or get out of the traffic. Sometimes the line for the drive thru blocks traffic so much where it will take 5+ minutes just to get out of the parking lot across the street. I have complained to corporate about this issue a couple of times but unfortunately I don't think there is much that can be done. One time I was in the drive through and the associate gave me my food and she was very disrespectful and yelled in my face. I have complained to corporate regarding this issue too. I will not eat at this McDonalds ever again!

Edit: I tried going to this McDonalds the other night on 11/11/23 around 9:20 pm and they were closed the drive thru and the dining room. When I asked why it was closed so early, the girl said it's because she doesn't feel like working tonight like really!?!? That's no excuse. Complained to corporate but doesn't seem like they care at all. The night crew at this McDonalds is a hot mess. I would not be surprised if this McDonalds goes out of business one day with how bad its getting.

we sat in after a long softball game. the inside was really hot, it was bearable after a while but not ideal. food was fine; our gripe is with the service mostly. our other gripe is regarding other customers which says more about the area and the parenting of teenage boys in said area but not mcdonald’s fault.

what was their fault was the service. my nephew’s fries in his happy meal were forgotten, my sister’s drink was the wrong size, i got straight up ignored when i went up to ask for a ranch cup-i was standing there and another customer was handed his food and then a manager [i’m assuming she is a manager from her light blue colored shirt] looked me in my eye and darted back into the kitchen. i was standing there for about 5 long minutes before i finally moved to where i could see into the kitchen and debated on grabbing a ranch cup for myself! somehow right as i was about to step behind the register and get my own damn ranch, someone happened to be walking by and noticed me but i still had to ask her for help rather than her asking me. so that was...
