Purrrlandia Cat Lounge & Cafe — Restaurant in Thousand Oaks

We absolutely LOVED visiting Purrrlandia!! The space is so modern, clean, and basically an intricately thought out and created amusement park for cats. You book a time slot online, it’s a very straightforward and simple process, and when you arrive you check in and then go into a little cordoned off room where you remove your shoes and put on little velvety foot covers before entering the cat space. These cats are so happy and well cared for, if you’re a cat person you know they aren’t stressed and have everything they need and more. They have a TV room where they can watch streaming birds and fish and there are even bird feeders outside on the windows to keep them entertained. They also have a quiet space in a separate room accessible by many secret portals only the cats know about for privacy when they need to use the litter box or just be away from people. They are all adoptable for a very small fee. We wish nothing but success for these amazing people and their business and can’t wait for...

Visited Purrlandia for the first time today - what an amazing Cat Cafe! It is a little utopian community built with love. The space was laid out with cats in mind. There was plenty of high-up places for the "tree-dwelling" cats, comfy areas for people to sit and lots of little cubby holes for them to rest in.

They have a great filtration system and the cat room is exceptionally clean. The staff is professional, friendly and knowledgeable about their cats.

There are great wand toys available for people to play with the cats. Also, there was this unique toy called - Monte the Mouse - made of felt with a 2 meter tail. We liked it so much, we bought one.

I had a lovely mint iced tea from the cafe that I was able to bring in to my cat session. If you don't have time to book a session (or they are sold out), you can have a nice drink and sit and watch the cats through the beautiful floor to ceiling windows from the cafe.
