Starbucks — Restaurant in Thousand Oaks

Expenses are rising and the thought of driving into work without my Starbucks Brown Shaken Sugar Espresso with vanilla cold foam is something that I may have to come to terms with. However, the cost of a cup of coffee is something I budget for because this location not only makes my drink right every time, but also has great staff. I feel lucky that I can afford to grab a coffee most days and the staff no matter how busy they are treats me kindly everyday. A couple of times I have a rough start to the day and the simple gesture of remembering who I am and making small talk changes the course of my day. I appreciate them all. Most days I drive from Oxnard where I could stop at several other locations but this Starbucks is the best. David is always smiling and always providing awesome service. Fast and friendly customer service. You can order ahead of time and pick up the order inside. Besides many varieties of coffee hot or iced, there are decaf and non-caffeine tea and cold juice options (including USDA organic, probiotic, cold-pressed juice options) and a variety of snack options. I did see at least one gluten free snack option for those who need to avoid gluten (meat and cheese snack), but Mod Pizza a couple doors down (about 20 steps away) also has gluten free custom pizza toppings for those whose dietary restrictions must be dairy free (get feta cheese instead, which is not from cows). Choice of seating in direct or indirect sunlight and dining table height or barstool height. Two unisex individually-locking bathrooms. Bathrooms do smell a bit more than some other Starbucks bathrooms. Has some outside seating that is not heated. Usually i don’t try to leave bad reviews to damage a business at any extent but man that older blonde woman that works there is just awful. I have been here several times and this lady just is the most rude and unpleasant person i’ve ever met. Countless times she makes only 1 drink out of several in a mobile order and when I stand at the bar waiting for the rest of my order she just stares at you…and then after 5 minutes pass she rolls her eyes and asks if you need anything…obviously that’s why i’m still standing here. Today was particularly horrible. She carelessly tossed the tray of 4 drinks into my car and slammed the window, no hi or anything. An entire frap went into my lap and all over my car she never came back to the window, so I just drove away…Out of the remaining drinks one was missing whip cream and no straws for any blended drinks. She needs to be fired immediately , her attitude and customer service skills...
