The tipsy goat is a comfortable establishment tucked in the niche between the parking lot of Outback and massage center along the northern end of thousand oaks Blvd. A great place to visit if looking for a quiet eatly evening drink, or for an eventful weekend night. Tipsy Goat is equipt with pool tables, dart boards, giant janga, and a great playlist. A gem to the city of thousand oaks

I would have given the Goat 5 stars, but I was very disappointed you don't sell souvenir Tee-shirts like the ones you have showcased when you first walk in. Everyone loves a souvenir Tee-shirt. .. My nickname is Goat, you have great logo would have loved to get a shirt or two besides that, food and service was perfect ☆☆☆☆☆

My squadron held our Holiday Party here and it was phenomenal! The food was great, the drinks were awesome, and I love how spontaneous the bartenders could be. I never specified any kind of drink other than "fruity" and they delivered delicious drinks each and every time!

I recently had a school reunion on 10/14/2023 with 150 alumni from Oak Park High School that graduated 1983-1988. DANIKA & KYLEE were amazing at helping put this thing together, endless questions via email and helping to figure out all that was (or wasn't) needed. I forgot the guy that did security at the back gate, but he was checking everyones ID and crossing their name off the guest list. Not on list, no entry to event. Kylee and her crew were setting up early and were ready to go when alumni started arriving at 6pm. I left at 1:30am and there were still people there, enjoying the fire pits. The compliments I have received on the reunion FB page along with messages sent to me were that the event was perfect! The venue was perfect. The food was delicious. Service was wonderful. The only complaint I got was about some smoking on the patio area.....this person wished that could be done in the parking lot, but I know the outside areas of bars/restaurants is for smokers. The evening started out with a HUGE charcuterie tray, fresh fruit & veggie platter. I had to make sure I covered meat eaters, vegans & vegetarians at this event. Our main dishes, all finger food with the chicken & burger sliders (raved about those), the chicken & shrimp tacos (OMG, they were delicious), grilled veggie skewer (I believe everyone enjoyed, I do not care for bell peppers so I did not eat). The emanadas were delicious as was the spanokpita (a tad bit greasy).....but EVERYONE RAVED ABOUT HOW GOOD THE FOOD WAS! We had the entire venue (inside/outside) from 6-10pm and at 10pm, the venue opened to the public. I think my only complaint was, they were letting people in through the back patio, where we were supposed to remain as a private event and people were walking through, checking out the gift bags that were out for alumni and were even sitting down to enjoy the fire pits and tables. I was told we would have the back patio to ourselves and that was not the case. I think allowing public in through only the front doors would have been better and a sign on the back gate, that closed for private event. YES, Tipsy Goat definitly caters to the 20-30 year old crowd as some of the public passing through, had commented loudly, wanting to know if it was "grandparents night out....." Again, a sign on the back gate and even the door to the back patio, that it was a private event, would have helped. Otherwise, the evening was perfect and went exactly as I envisioned. I would definitely consider having the next reunion...

NEVER AGAIN

We (me and my gf) went here, on a calm Sunday night and were having a good innocent night chatting with the locals and enjoying our drink. Nothing gone wrong, we were having a perfectly good night.

I've never been thrown out any establishment ever. I've never even so much as left a less than 3 star review either. By the looks of the other reviews, some others have had the same experience, along with other poor experiences.

Basically, I was told - without explanation - that I had to leave and to gather up my tab and go. It was hard to get any explanation - the look on the guard's face made it plain that they didn't have a reason. I feel extremely insulted to have been thrown out at all, let alone have to sit outside and wait while I got put behind every other person going either in or out without a reason by the douchey - very bro - security staff. Let me just explain how bro the security is. They acted like I was threatening them when I clearly only asked for an explanation and to speak with staff about what was going on. Then they threatened me and treated me like I was trying to stay in, at which point I had to explain to them that I hadn't asked to get back in and that I wanted to understand what the problem was. All of this being my first time, I asked if I could see the manager. The manager wouldn't come out, and staff didn't seem to see that their claims - whatever they were - could be either validated or invalidated by both my behavior or anybody else's testimony whether it be that I had disturbed someone else or done something unacceptable. They didn't care, because it appeared to be up to the manager or someone else, so they just acted very imposing when they could have just said as much. Every last bit of it was impolite when I feel I had done nothing wrong. I'm disgusted with the staff and feel angry that I was treated this way when a simple explanation would have sufficed.

The entire ordeal had me livid with anger for a couple of hours. I wish I had read the reviews before I came here, or else I...

I want to start this off by saying that I am a long time customer of the Tipsy Goat. Never have I had anything negative to say about my experience with any of the staff. And I even gave myself some time to process this before I even wrote a review. Babs is one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet and all of the security guards have always been pleasant and funny. But last night I had the unfortunate pleasure of meeting Danika. I was looking for my friends so we could leave as one does when my phone died. Leaving me with no access to get in contact with them or call for a ride. I immediately found Babs explained her of my situation and she plugged my phone in for me.

Not even 20 seconds later this woman (who i’ve never seen there in my 3 years of coming in) came up and started screaming at me telling me that it was time to leave. I attempted to calmly explain the situation to her and she said and i quote, “I don’t care if you don’t have a ride but you can’t stay in here you can stand all night in the parking lot for all i care” unplugged my phone and practically threw it at me stating that it was on now. i took my phone with 1% to where it immediately died as i tried to call my friends. Luckily Marshawn was up by the exit and was able to console me (as i was very upset and scared) and i was eventually able to find my friends.

I understand that she was just trying to get people out and follow the rules. But as a bar owner to tell an intoxicated woman that she can sit in the parking lot for god knows how long and no phone is absolutely ridiculous. I LOVE this place more than anything but after that experience I don’t think that I ever want to give her any more of money. She should really stay at home and let her amazing staff do...
