" An excellent dining experience " Mazatlan has been a well known choice for Mexican food for many years now and for good reason - they deliver! Not only was the well presented, served hot and incredibly tasty, but served by friendly attentive staff. I had their steak Fajitas and was very impressed with the tenderness and flavor of the meat. The rice was soft and fluffy and their refried beans had the perfect texture. Although I enjoyed their chips the salsa fell into the so what catagory. Due to this once my entre' arrived I began dipping the chips into my beans and guacamole. The bathroom bathroom was spacious, clean, well lit, and stocked with plenty of toiletries. You'll also find an abundance of parking, however only the first few spots are near the door. All in all I found the entire experience justified the price point and I look forward to dining with them again soon.

Visiting from out of the area, and gotta say this place was a very pleasant place to stop by! The Jalapeño Margarita that Jesus the bartender made was top notch and his customer service was over the top! The happy hour food items were excellently priced also. I had a (at Jesus' suggestion) a shredded beef mole enchilada that was fantastic for $2.50 and my wife had the super fresh tasting ceviche tostada for $4.50. We both found the salsa here addicting and they kept bringing bowls of chips one after the other until we just couldn't eat any more.. Lol. Another great suggestion by Jesus when I asked if they had any special house hot sauces or salsas, was, as he called it "the hot sauce". Jesus makes it himself and it is freaking fantastic! He said just ask for Jesus' hot sauce. Will certainly visit this place again when next anywhere near here!

Wanted to try a new Mexican restaurant and this place initially looked great. Went in on a night where there wasn't a lot of guests and the hostess was automatically annoyed. The server, while nice, didn't want to be there and was quick with every interaction. The salsa was great, but when we ordered one of the drinks we were treated to an ant and some sort f fly (maybe a big fruit fly) in the drink. We told the server and got close to no apology and he didn't talk about it the rest of the dinner. The rest of the food was mediocre, but to add on to it all we found a small piece of rubber band (some elastic material) in our main dish. Overall, not that good of food, not that good of service, and definitely not hygienic

I would give no stars if possible. Came in around noon for lunch and the place was almost empty, so usually that means you'll get exceptional service, boy were we wrong! Our waiter had no idea what was on the specials board, he didn't answer my questions, he took our order then we didn't see him again until he came to pick up our check, which a different server dropped off. Our salads were runny, mine had one bite of meat, barely any toppings except an excessive amount of iceberg lettuce, and they were completely flavorless. No one came to check on us to see how everything was, she didn't even ask when she dropped the check. When my friend finally asked for a manager after having a bad tasting meal, and even worse service, she was told they didn't have one there right then. A minute later a different server came by inquiring why we asked for a manager and when we told her our complaints, all she said was sorry, nothing more. I was then told it would be a 3 minute wait to run my card for my half of our meal. My friend paid for mine in cash so we could just get out of there. Needless to say, we will...

Ugh so disappointed! I usually always love a good traditional mexican restaurant and have driven past this one a lot so thought we should give it a try considering it’s less than 5 minutes from our house. We were honestly surprised by how below average it was.. We always order the same dish from every traditional mexican restaurant, ciella y mar y tierra which is carne asada, chicken, and shrimp. I don’t know what kind of meat the carne asada was but it wasn’t a skirt steak.. We asked for medium rare and it was dry and tough and thick, not traditional carne asada. It looked like it came from frozen then boiled.. I will say the chicken was tender and good. Everything else was soo bland! I’ve never had such bland Mexican before and I’ve eaten alottt of mexican food. Also they charge for chips and salsa if you get more than one portion which I’ve never seen before lol. We kept trying to enjoy it as the service was great and the waiters were super friendly, but we just couldn’t enjoy the food. Boring, bland, and below average. Maybe we should’ve gotten a margarita since the drink list looked...

We decided to try this place the day after Christmas, it was lunchtime and they weren't very busy. Sadly we were forgotten about and had to wait a long time while the large family that came in way after we got all of their orders. The waiter never came back and a lady that was clearing tables apologized when I asked her what happened and let her know we haven't had anyone come by a half an hour since we ordered our meal. I asked her what exactly happened and she just kept saying "it's okay" and then walked over and told the waiter who originally helped us, they were talking and looking over from behind a wall nearby, but he never came back to our table. After realizing we were forgotten, they got our food, but you could tell it was rushed as it was sloppy and lacked flavor and there was not much to the plate, it was more like an appetizer than an entree. They covered our drinks on the check, but the manager that kept looking over from the other side of the wall never came over to apologize or explain anything. Felt like he was avoiding us. We are not planning...
