The Tigard location is my least favorite, the food is as good as any of the other locations but you can tell their emphasis is on being fast, to the extent that it hurts the customer experience. I’ve gone a few times since it’s so close to our place, each time it is so stressful going through the line. They throw the ingredients on, usually not even covering the whole pizza which I’m fine clarifying that I wanted the cheese to cover the whole pizza if I must, but they make it feel like you can’t even think and like you’re a bother if you need a couple seconds. Last time I went, the topping guy asked me three different times “how are you?” Each time I said “good” but he was too rushed to hear me-and I guess to remember that he’s already asked me. After the third time of me saying that I was good, he responded with the joke of “that’s terrible” which frankly just annoyed me even more. They aren’t careful with allergy restrictions -it’s nice that they have alternatives but I went with my sister and the guy put some real cheese on her dairy free cheese because it was mixed in with other toppings. He also made a snarky comment about her getting the dairy free cheese with meat because it’s not vegan. Again, just annoying. It’s fine to be funny but only when there’s a connection made with the customer first so you’re on the same page otherwise it’s just rude and annoying. After three different experiences like this at the Tigard location, I...

Mod Pizza - Super Slow. The workers were doing everything they could to work as fast as they could. For online orders… at the expense of the 15 of us physically standing in line in the store. Come on Mod Pizza. Come up with a better system. Maybe 1. Create a whole separate work station for online orders. 2. Find a better way to moderate the amount of online orders being processed at any given time, maybe even while having some kind of an active physical customer count to weigh that against 3. Have a way to measure the amount of pizzas in the oven, on the racks, and being assembled. 4. Better realize the total amount of pizzas that can be worked on at any given time based upon the amount of workers present. Use all this data to find a better way. I guarantee you’ll have less 1 star reviews ;)
UPDATE: I went in the week of August 21st and saw Mod had made a change to their pizza building process. Instead of having one station and one long process where up to 4 people could build pizzas one at a time down the line, they took all the toppings, made up smaller quantities and rebuilt the line to have 2 separate pizza making stations where 2 people at each station could work MUCH faster getting pizzas made up. Thank you Mod pizza for making this change. It makes much more sense and helps when us in restaurant customers come in and can get service alongside the deluge of online orders! Changing rating to a 5...
Read moreDon't waste your time, workers don't care even when you tip. I told the cashier I called in an order and she tried to ring me up. Then after I got it through to her it was an order called in, she found my order and I paid. She told me to have a good night and I was so confused... I was curious where my food was, I was late picking up. So I stood for a while and afterwards asked her if I was waiting on anything or is the order ready. She told me if my order was done, it would be on the online pickup shelf. So I checked, several times and it wasn't there. I sat down and waited even more. I got impatient and decided to ask another worker if she had an order with my name on it. She asked me if I checked the online order shelf, so I told her yes, multiple times. She then remembers she saw my order on the unpaid side so it was literally right beside her completed the entire time. She apologized then began to ring me up, I then let her know I already paid. So she gave me my food.. I've only been to MOD once, this time I was introducing a friend to the company and that was thoroughly ruined for...
