Contains Health Issues As the husband of a former employee: Often times donuts will be dropped on the ground by employees, and then placed back on the screens to be frosted like the other donuts. When a customer orders a milkshake, my wife gave a full scoop of ice cream and her manager chewed her out for "wasting money". The employee's are given 6 free donuts per shift, and often times my wife would give a customer she connected with one of her free donuts, but she ended up getting in trouble for doing that because she "wasn't making a profit." So, cons: Usually have several donuts which are day old (stored in the display case over night, uncovered), you never know when there will be a "ground donut", the refrigerator fillings (apple and coconut) will often be left out on the counter to room temperature, and the workers are supposed to cut corners a lot to save money (ie; use less bacon then paid for). THE SAME SUGAR TO COAT REGULAR DONUTS WILL BE USED FOR GLUTEN FREE DONUTS, and the gluten free donuts are always frozen, never fresh. Pros: They use less sugar then most other donut shops, so their donuts are less sweet and they have different coffee choices.
My wife and I love Sesame, but after she got fired (she had to take a family emergency day, and the next day she had no job), we will never frequent this establishment location again, and will drive the extra distance to the original one...
Read moreMy wife and I tried this place for the first time, and we absolutely love it.
First off the location is great. Nice and safe, and a free parking lot.
The donuts were affordable and very tasty.
Soft, and lasts a day or two extra and still tastes great.
The guy working that day was friendly and nice and gave us free apple fritters for being first time customers.
We thought that was so nice, and we will definitely be back.
We are new to the area, and scouting out great donut places.
Surprised this rating isn't higher.
Those high rated places beware, because some of the places have dry, unimpressive donuts, and high prices, and not very nice to customers.
My wife is obsessed with Maple Donut Bars she enjoyed hers so much.
I am more classic Glaze fan and had a Blueberry Jelly Glazed Donut.
Both were very good, and we both enjoyed the apple fritter so good.
I recommend this donut...

And here in the PNW, a lot of us take donuts as seriously as we do our coffee. So most of us won't bother with a donut place if it's not worth it! Sesame Donuts is worth it. They aren't trendy or spend their annual budget on their marketing. They put their energy in supplying tasty and creative donuts that are very consistent with their texture and flavor.
The staff are always welcoming and pleasant. They're great with my kids who are always so excited when they do get to go in there. They have your regular go-to flavors of course, which I think are their strength, but they have the colorful ones too that appeal to kids.
Their smoothies and other desert drinks are worth a try as well. And their breakfast sandwiches...
