I wish I had recorded this interaction with the manager Jason today, I don’t think I’ve ever met a service worker like him. His attitude was so rude it’s got me shaking with anger and disappointment. I had ordered two drinks one small milkshake and a medium slushy, I had repeated the slushy order twice for him, everything was fine until he came out. He handed the slushy to me first and I questioned if that was a medium and he said now it’s a small, I decided whatever it’s not a big deal so I said okay and put it down then he handed the milkshake and it seemed larger just because the tops are different so I questioned if they are both smalls and he rudely said that they are the same and if I put them together I will see that they are both small so anyway I put the milkshake in the cup holder and he snarked “see they’re the same size, don’t you see” I said “yep” since he was having attitude and he asked for the receipt so he can grab my change and he then snatched it from my hand, at first I wasn’t going to say anything then when he passed my car I heard him say something so then I said “ excuse me, are you okay” and he proceeded to tell me how I had attitude and was being disrespectful” I told him to bring me the manager and he stuck his hand in my window with his name tag saying that he is the general manager. I told him “ I questioned you about the size that’s no reason to talk to me like that” at this point people are now watching and it was just a really embarrassing moment, he was yelling to my car from the middle of the road since I was still at the kiosk. Someone higher up needs to pull the cameras to see what happened because from the looks of the other reviews it seems like all the employees have attitude problems. If you’re having a bad day you can’t just interact with customers like that, I understand how frustrating this job is, I’ve worked all positions of fast food myself so trust me I get it, but even with my most difficult customers I’ve never spoke to anyone like that, let alone snatch items out of their hands. As a woman in that moment I did feel threatened especially with how close he put his name tag to my face, and for him to walk back up to my window multiple times, it was a terrible experience. Read moreThis location has horrible customer service & their machines are "broken", according to staff. Placed a mobile order for 3 drinks, no food & parked in a stall. I set the mobile order to the stall we were parked in and proceeded to wait for 10 minutes before pushing the red button. We then waited ANOTHER 10 minutes for them to answer the machine just to say their stalls are closed and I need to go through the drive thru. We went around & no one responded to us or the people in front of us at the speaker, we both pulled forward without ordering as we didn't receive any greeting or answer for 3-5 minutes. When we finally got to the window, they told us that we needed to go back around & place the order at the speaker. I explained it was just three drinks & there was no response at the speaker, same as the person in front of me. I also explained my issue at the stall, the wait and non-response. She was visibly annoyed, was being very short & rude from the beginning. She then looked for my order after I explained & said it's not in their system but the stall that I checked in on still had my name on the screen and said "in the kitchen", that's when she mentioned the stalls were broken(?) and said that she couldn't do anything for me. I said "I already paid for the order, I have the receipt and bank transaction, it even says my name on stall 17 still. What do you want me to do?" She replies in a very disrespectful tone "what do you want ME to do?" So I said "I want you to make the drinks that I paid for." To which she rolled her eyes then made them. When handing them to me, she told me the manager said I was no longer allowed at the location because I was "disrespecting the employees". I was clearly annoyed & not the nicest about the interaction however my attitude was only a reciprocation of her attitude from the second she opened the window. I understand being frustrated because of a long line & things going wrong with systems as an ex-fast food worker myself but the attitude from the woman at the window was extremely uncalled for & I'm especially appalled that I was asked not to come back. Read moreOkay, I admit it, this Sonic has been in Tigard for several years and I hadn't visited it until a few days ago. I looked at their menu online. I saw that they served breakfast all day, and saw a breakfast burrito that looked good and a breakfast sandwich that looked good so I thought what the heck I'll give it a go! If you're coming from Tigard and driving towards Sherwood it will be on your left but you have to make a u-turn at 99W and Royalty Parkway by the Safeway to get into their parking lot. I also like the convenience of a drive-thru and Sonic has a really nice one. It was almost lunch time on Sunday so I figured they'd be busier but they were not really busy at all. When I got up to the microphone and speaker I told the employee who answered it was my first time there and please give me a minute to look at the menu. He sounded very friendly and he said if I had any questions just ask and he'd be happy to answer them for me. I ordered two breakfast burritos without meat and a breakfast sandwich with a fried egg but without meat. Also ordered a medium sized tater tot. I am a Vegetarian and they were happy to accommodate me! When I got up to the window to pay for my food I mentioned to the woman behind the window that this was my first time here at Sonic and she said well we certainly hope it's not your last! Please let us know if there's anything else we can do to make your visit more pleasant! I didn't have very long of a wait and I took the food home to eat there. The tater tots were cooked to perfection and were not greasy at all. The breakfast burritos were tasty and well cooked. I took a star away because the breakfast sandwich was a fried egg and American cheese on Texas toast, but the cheese was not melted at all and the toast was not toasted at all.
