The good: Amazing food, fresh oysters, and this has one of my favorite happy hours in the neighborhood. I also love that they have sushi. The food really deserves a 5 star rating.

The bad: The service…. Im thinking the service changes depending on where you sit because I’ve only had someone who was nice serve me one time. The inside bartenders were so sweet. I normally sit outside when I come which is where I typically receive service that is not so friendly. I hesitated on making a review because I do love the food. I was there earlier in the week and Kellie served me on the patio. She had this weird energy to her where I felt like she was annoyed at me. I then realized she was upset because I sat myself on accident on the empty patio instead of asking a hostess to seat me outside. She had a very standoffish attitude towards me the entire time. I had to flag her down every time I needed something, such as a refill. I have great manners, so I would say “excuse me, may I….?” At one point when I needed something, and tried to politely get her attention, she turns around and says “Excuse me my name is Kellie if you need anything” while cutting me off mid sentence. She said this very rudely, as if we were on a first name basis. She said this, as if she introduced herself when she first came to the table… She did not.

I started off with two oyster appetizers, and then I ordered some sliders for my entrée which she forgot to enter the computer. I had waited a full hour before I asked her where my sliders were at. She told me they were “sent to the next table”. It was finally then when she forgot to ring in my food she finally fixed her face and attitude and all of a sudden became CFA friendly to me. I think I even got a smile towards the end.

This isn’t the first time I was treated so strangely here on the patio. Last year, I came for my birthday with my friend. Same situation…. But this was a male server that we had, and he just seemed bothered by us being there. We hadn’t been there for more than 30 minutes and I was mid appetizer, when the gentleman who was working the patio came over and abruptly interrupted and said that we had to move because it was about to rain and they have to move a party into the area that I’m sitting at. He did not look sorry, he did not care, and he said the best I can do for you is take a drink off the check and close your check out. If you wanna continue ordering, you can go inside and ask to be sat at a table. We were so put off that we just left and went to Bluestone, who treated me so well and made up for that horrible experience.

I won’t be back any time soon, but for other patrons, please talk to your staff about customer service and...

Surprisingly good, albeit a scant selection of styles. As a mostly raw bar, steamed, scalded, broiled, and fried should also be considered a heavy percentage for any restaurant with " Oyster " in the name in THIS state. As the host state of the National Oyster Shucking Championships and this restaurant being a mere two hour drive from those championships; the recipes and tradition are more than sufficient to host a modest amount of dishes. ONE grilled oyster offering. TWO fried oyster offerings. NO scalded / steamed offerings. ( pretty much the same thing ) YES a lot of different types of raw oysters. An incredible menu, don't get me wrong. An exquisite variety of food. Maybe a little pricey, but the region ( and tourism factor ) can demand that. The portion size more than makes up the difference. For the amount you get, your money is well spent. I don't say that often enough The Seafood Jambalaya was near perfect. The portions are more than sufficient for even the strongest appetites. I would love to see a few more grilled recipes and definitely an offering of steamed or scalded. I have been known to down 3 dozen in a sitting, more if beer and good company are available. The Crispy Brussel Sprouts are well done, maybe a little too far gone. Dry and paperish, almost as ash. Plentiful, yes. Tasty, yes. but a simple oven bake with some olive oil to keep them moist would put these over the top. The Crabcake offered was large, meaty, and delicious. This IS Maryland. If you get this wrong, you are either not from here, or shouldn't be in the business. Restaurant lighting was ample, space was sufficient for two at the table. temperature was adequate considering the space. Our waiter was funny, attentive, and relaxed. He knew when to check on us and when to just roll by. We were well taken care of by him. The hostess, however, was a different story. More interested in their phones and selfies than customer service, my wife had to hunt down our waiter to get a bag for our take-home meal as they were unable to tear themselves away. Maybe a small stock of bags and stricter policies including offering said bags to customers would be a nice touch. Go here for the oysters, go here for the fantastic food. If you are the type to need over the top attentive service, go to McDonalds. There are no phones on the front line there. A brisk walk to the Hampton Inn & Suites makes the location fabulous. Walk off dinner with a...

This was actually the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. Ive worked as a server in restaurants for 8 years and I’ve never been gaslighted so much at a restaurant in my life. We ordered a bottle of Revolution Libertador for the table, and the manager brought a bottle of Bonanza to the table. We asked her “Is this the bottle that we ordered? The Revolution?” She said short and simple, “yes”. She opened the bottle, poured, and walked away. After thoroughly reading the bottle, we called her back over to the table to inform her that this is the wrong bottle of wine. She then gave us an attitude and said “I asked you if you ordered the Bonanza, and you said yes. (Which isn’t even possible because they don’t even have Bonanza listed on their menu!!) she then says “if you thought it was the wrong bottle you should have said something” which we TRIED but she insisted it was the right bottle! So then, the manager then informs us that they were out of stock of the bottle that we ordered. (Which is why she brought us a different bottle and told us it was the one we had ordered.) Our food arrived and upon first taste, tasted spoiled, something was definitely not right about it. However, we didn’t even bother to say anything because we would have just gotten a poor response and gaslighted by the manager. We wound up paying for everything and agreeing to never visit again because the experience was so...

I visited this restaurant in early September of this year. Environment: I outside on their patio and it was a really nice experience. Everything was super clean and nicely decorated. You have the a choice of sitting at a dining table or talk table with stools. I believe there may be at least two bars outside for when they have event s as a well. Least favorite thing, is that not all of the seats are covered well. I was burning up from the sun in certain spots. Customer Service: The waitress that I had was nice. She was understanding when I told her that I ordered the wrong meal and quickly put in a ticket for the correct one with the kitchen. Food: The food was delicious! I love raw oysters so the ones I got were perfect - salty and briny. The salad, coleslaw and fried calamari were good too. I, personally, did not like the fried oysters. For me, it got soggy too quickly and it was were to have an oyster in a breaded pocket. All in all, I was happy with my meal. I do wish they had more raw seafood options though. Overall, I had a pleasant experience at this restaurant and would recommend it to others into oysters!
